Hello! We want to share our incredible emotions from our recent vacation at the Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh. We are a family of four (two adults and two children aged 11 and 8) who spent 10 unforgettable days here, and we absolutely didn't want to leave! We stayed in Room 8155. If you're looking for the perfect place for a family vacation where everyone will be comfortable and entertained, then Rixos Radamis is your choice! Right from the doorstep, we were greeted by staff with warm smiles and refreshing drinks. Check-in was quick and easy, and the reception personnel were simply charming! We were offered a room with a convenient layout: a large bed for us and two separate beds for the children (which turned out to be very comfortable!). The room was immaculately clean, cleaned daily and very thoroughly. The view from the window of the well-maintained grounds and the relaxation pool added a festive feeling from the very morning. The dining experience was a separate delight! The Ultra All Inclusive system here truly works 100%! The main restaurant amazes with its diversity of dishes to suit any taste: from the freshest salads and seafood to exquisite hot dishes, pastas, and grill stations. Our children found something they loved every day: pizza, pasta, potatoes, chicken, and of course, Movenpick ice cream. The assortment of desserts and fruits was beyond all praise! A special thank you to the chefs for the opportunity to try local cuisine dishes – it was very tasty and educational. The à la carte restaurants (we tried Salt, Tbone, Wabi Sabi, Rasam) are culinary journeys of the highest class! The service everywhere was excellent, and the staff were always attentive to the children. The hotel grounds are huge and very well-maintained. Walking here is a pleasure! The pools are simply magnificent: a large main pool with a play area, a separate children's pool with slides (our kids could spend hours there!), and a quiet pool for relaxation. Always clean, plenty of sun loungers. The beach is very beautiful, unfortunately almost without sand, but we knew about this in advance. However, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea and snorkeling. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, and beach towels were changed without any issues. The sea was simply amazingly warm. What impressed us the most was the sincere friendliness and responsiveness of the entire staff! From the waiters to the managers and lifeguards – everyone tried their best to make our vacation as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Smiles, attention to detail (especially towards children!), and willingness to help – this created a unique atmosphere of warmth and care. The hotel is perfectly suited for families with children: safe grounds, infrastructure, entertainment, dining – everything is thought through to the smallest detail. I especially want to mention the absolutely incredible "Golden Keys" concierge. This is Mr. Shawky Elbassiouny. Communicating and interacting with him will be memorable for us forever; this is my first experience meeting a representative of the "Golden Keys" (Les Clefs d'Or) in a hotel. Impeccable manners, tact, empathy, and a sincere desire to help in any situation. Simply smiling and wishing you a good day. Such employees are a true find for a hotel. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer people like this these days. Old school excellence, in the very best sense of the word. 🤝 With respect and warmth, Alexander, Margarita, Varvara, and Klim Room 8155

Update (after a few more days at the hotel): Since Monday, after many guests checked out, the situation at the hotel has slightly improved. There are now enough tables available at the buffet, and the kids' club is more accessible without long queues. Because of this, I have decided to update the rating from 1 to 4 stars. The kids' club at the hotel is truly outstanding. If you sign up in advance for different activities, there are fantastic options like painting, robotics, and wood carving. All of our children absolutely loved it. It’s a major highlight of the hotel and a wonderful experience for families. However, many issues remain. The service still leaves much to be desired: waiters are often unfriendly, inattentive, and forget orders (you ask for two drinks, they bring only one). Waiting times are long. At the pool, getting a drink can take forever — sometimes it doesn't happen at all. In general, while some conditions improved with fewer guests, the service quality is still far below Rixos standards. I would also like to note that the hotel management responded professionally to my initial feedback. They offered us a room upgrade, helped us with arrangements, and made a complimentary gesture in the rooms. I appreciate their attention and efforts to improve our stay. A special thank you to Malika from the guest relations team, who handled everything with great professionalism and care. She supported us throughout the rest of our stay, smoothing many of our initial impressions and making us feel much more welcome. Below you will find the first version of my review. --- Unfortunately, this hotel left a very disappointing impression and does not meet the standards of Rixos or a true 5-star experience. The first major issue is the poor service. The waitstaff are slow, unfriendly, and inattentive. Even simple requests are handled poorly. For example, when asking to add a chair to the table, they brought the chair but forgot to provide the necessary cutlery. This level of service is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this category. The rooms are uncomfortable. Although the hotel and renovation appear to be new, there are visible construction flaws and signs of poor workmanship everywhere. Given the price and brand, this is very disappointing. At dinner, there is a serious shortage of tables. Guests are forced to wait and search for seating, which ruins the dining experience — something that should never happen at a five-star resort. The kids’ club is also poorly managed: long queues for everything make it nearly impossible for children to enjoy the facilities without frustration. Around the pool area, there is only one restroom located far away. Moreover, access from one side is blocked, forcing guests to walk all the way around under the hot sun. This is extremely inconvenient and poorly thought out. Additionally, we were placed on the third floor, but there are no elevators available — again, completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. Overall, the stay was ruined by countless small inconveniences that constantly reminded us of the hotel's lack of attention to guest comfort. Expectations for a Rixos property were much higher. Sadly, this hotel does not meet the standards of the brand or a genuine five-star experience.

We were visiting Rixos Radamis from 16 to 22 of February, 2025. We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Truly luxurious experience in every aspect. Couple examples: 1. Even though we came from another Rixos hotel, we were warmly greeted by all the Front of the House team: Menna, the girl in the lobby, the security sir Mohammed, front desk shift leader Ahmed, they all made my family like we are home. 2. Our first visit to the Turquoise restaurant was out of this world. The service, the food was absolutely amazing and luxurious. Much thanks to the restaurant manager Mr. Abdelsalam and his team. He was very very attentive to everything that was happening in the restaurant. Also special thanks to the chef Mehmet from Turkey. Even though the restaurant was closed, he chatted with me and I even found out that he worked in my hometown Astana and was opening one of my favourite malls(Khan-Shatyr). 3. Our first trip to the beach was also magical as we witnessed the sunset on the Red Sea for the first time. We were taking photos and out of nowhere lifeguard Karim came to us and offered to take some photos of us. Thank you Mr Karim for your kindness! 4. The following day I met wonderful guys Abdelrahman and Ahmed from the lifeguard team. I went to the pier and talked to Ahmed for a while, he was very kind, sincere and overall just a good person. It was maybe 30 minutes till snorkeling time, so we had plenty of time to chat while he was getting all the equipment ready. He told me about how he saves people, when he uses the boat, what are the common mistakes when snorkeling, etc. I came back later and he offered me fins, masks and even soap for masks so they would not get foggy. Truly luxurious and anticipative. 5. Whenever I walked past Mr Ahmed(3rd photo, he is on the very left side), he was always smiley and attentive. He is truly a 5 star employee and just a good person. I talked to both of the gentlemen and they were very talkative even though he sometimes had to use google translate. 6. Much thanks to Mr. Abdelkader for bringing bags for us. When we were taking off a golf cart near the lobby, our handbag was all soaky and full of sand and public area attendant Mr. Abdelkader was more than eager to help us. He brought us a couple plastic bags and helped us to pack all our stuff. Another example of heartfelt and sincere service. 7. Also much thanks to the People's restaurant's manager Mohammed. He took care of us and served us personally.

Firstly I need to say the hotel is beautifully designed and the hotel did take our request for a quieter room, which really was appreciated. The room is lovely and the children loved the decor, with very comfy beds and pillows.

Since we have arrived however, there have been numerous issues and I would really have expected far better from a hotel where you are paying a lot of money and who claim to be a premium brand

  1. checkin took nearly 30/40 minutes and there was only one family in front of us. Once we eventually got checked in nothing was explained to us. No one told us where the restaurants were, how to book any of the Al a cartes etc. Even the colleague delivering us to our room didn't show or explain anything to us. I had to ask where the restaurant for dinner was and was just pointed down a corridor like I should know where I am going. We have been to many hotels in Sharm and what makes them stand out is the staff and customer service. The staff that you are able to interact with are great and display what we have come to know of Egyptian Hospitality. This just didn't seem to spread to those on the check in area and they appeared to be in a rush to get "rid" of us

  2. whilst the room is lovely, for multiple nights there have not been enough towels for all of us. I did not expect to have to share towels to dry ourselves. We did speak to our lovely room cleaner but he explained that all the towels are at the laundry and he will get some as soon as possible. This took 2 hours. I appreciate it's not his fault and he is doing his best, but for a 5 star premium hotel as a minimum I would expect there to enough towels for the guests in the room.

  3. The buffer restaurant, Turquoise Restaurant is just a massive let down and frankly a disgrace to a so called premium hotel. There are no where near enough staff or tables to accommodate the amount of guests. We have never experienced this issue at other hotels in the region. How can people be expected to eat when they can't even find a table. If you aren't there when the restaurant opens expect it to be a scrum to find a table. The staff will do their best to find you a table but they are working on resources. If you are lucky enough to find a table then there are not enough waiters to even get you a drink. You will be lucky if you manage one drink during dinner. There are far too many waiters trying to clear tables and not enough people serving guests. The buffet itself is also a disappointment, with very little change night to night. Where we have stayed at other hotels that operate buffets the nights will have some sort of theme to them and alter their menus and choices, but every night here seems to have the same main choices.

We have managed to book a few al a cartes so hopefully that will help break up the monotony of the buffet. The staff in the Al a cartes are very friendly and the food is good. Be expected though to provide a google review, which they will then want to photo for their records

  1. no service around the pool. We tried ordering drinks from a waiter around the pool, but he just wasn't interested. Our drinks never arrived. Again, it is a lack of staff. How can they have 1 person serving 2 big pools. This is meant to be 5 star resort and the only way to get a drink is to go the 1 pool bar and queue as there is no where near enough staff. I know this appears 1st world problems, but you are paying 1st world prices. Again this hotel sells itself as being premium. We received far better service from far cheaper hotels in Sharm

  2. the shows are typical of large resorts, but are very well done. However, going to watch the show and there will be whole sections reserved for whoever is the chosen VIP group of the night. The rest of the hotel is just made to sit wherever is left and don't expect any service as everything is dedicated to this VIP group. This really isn't acceptable when everyone is paying good money to be here.

We have tried contacting the management to raise the issues, but you don't...

We overall had a great time at Rixos Radamis. Location: 10 mins from the airport and soho square. 20 mins from naama bay, old market and farsha cafe. Rooms: we were impressed with the rooms they were well furnished, stocked mini fridge, lots of sockets didn't require adapters (UK), TV had the YouTube app on, the bed was firm but that's a personal preference. Just a heads up we were on the 3rd floor but still managed to get bit by mosquitoes so take bug spray with you and keep the balcony closed where you can Food: The buffet was decent, in typical buffet fashion sometimes the food was cold but there was good choice. The a la cartes were hit or miss. The Peoples has a gorgeous location on the beach but labelled as "International cuisine" the food was unfortunately quite disappointing. The Italian L'olive was also disappointing, I've written a separate review on this but we have stayed in another Rixos previously with the same a la carte and the contrast was stark, so I think it has quite a bit of catching up to do to match up to its sister hotel. The Lebanese Hayal, and Turkish Lazel were lovely great atmosphere and food was delicious. But the best was the Mangel the BBQ a la carte, beautiful setting on the sea. The chef comes and grills your meat next to you and everything was just lovely, I was really pleased to see this was included and not an extra! It's a must if you stay at this hotel. Other food includes lunchtime burgers and sandwiches, shawarma all of which were fine but what I would note is there's not really a good designated place to sit and eat these, they're on the beach and you can't take them in the beach bar so if you're not on a sun lounger it's a bit awkward. A huge highlight was the ice cream parlour on the beach and also at the buffet, movenpick ice cream all included this was brilliant. There were also coffee stalls which did delicious ice lattes with syrups. Just a heads up they don't offer everything that's written on the menu of the wall for some reason, just the basics but they were very good coffees. There was also a noodle cart at the blue planet pool and a waffle cart at the Tirana pool. As for drinks we do not drink alcohol so can't comment on this, however at the buffet sometimes it was hard to get drinks served with your meal but a big plus to this hotel that I haven't seen elsewhere was there is a bar in the buffet room so we would just go up and get our drink ourself and they also did lay out some juices etc in a drinks fridge. Also coffee machines and to my absolute delight there was also pots of tea brewed, always so you could serve yourself add a bit of hot water to thin it out and milk is ready there next to it. Other hotels could take a leaf out of their book because for me that was a game changer rather than trying to get served during mealtimes is usually hectic at other places. We did try out some mocktails, the hotel had a "beverage menu" that i scanned a qr code of but everytime I showed it to anyone at any bar they all seemed to have never seen it before and you'd never get the same variation of the mocktail you pick twice presumably because they'd never seen it before. I would say this could be improved. Pools: okay so there are 2 main pools, Tirana and blue planet. I only used blue planet but I think Tirana has all the same things as blue planet. Good size pool, pool bar in the middle. Usually can get sunloungers even after breakfast, there was only 1 day we struggled. A couple of things could be improved there is a jacuzzi section in the pool which was basically right next to the kids paddling pool but parents seemed to use the jacuzzi as the paddling pool which sort of defeated the purpose to relax. Also the pool music was at times bizarre like background house music with occasional mainstream recognisable music. I did expect some more arabic music given that we're in Egypt but there wasn't any. A big downside were the sunloungers they were super uncomfortable and loads were broken / sagging. Continued in...

My comprehensive review of Rixos Radmis Hotel - Sharm El Sheikh

I visited Rixos Radames in Sharm El Sheikh, a wonderful experience by all standards. This distinguished resort is distinguished by its location, upscale services, and wonderful food, making it an ideal choice for families, individuals, and even friends looking for an unforgettable vacation. I will rate all the reactions I experienced through my hotel stays.

the site:

The hotel is located in the heart of Sharm El Sheikh, one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Egypt. It is distinguished by its location close to the Red Sea with clear waters and coral reefs, making it ideal for diving and swimming enthusiasts. It is also close to shopping areas and local markets, allowing them to get out of the city atmosphere.

Transmission: multiple

From the moment I arrived, the reception was friendly and organised. A team working in the field of urgent reception and willing to meet basic needs in every sense of the word. The check-in process was smooth, and they even offered me a special welcome. All the staff, from room service staff to restaurant staff, are top notch, making the stay even easier and enjoyable.

Rooms:

The rooms are very spacious, with comfortable decor and furniture. It contains everything a guest might need, including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and a coffee maker. The balcony had a sea view which made the stay even more wonderful. The rooms are fully cleaned, with cleaning and hotel medical supplies provided.

Uncle services:

There are many distinguished hotels available, including: • Bathrooms: There is more than one swimming pool, some of which are designated for families and others for adults only, allowing each guest to enjoy the atmosphere that suits him. Clean water, appropriate temperature. • The beach: One of the most beautiful sources in Sharm El Sheikh, with clear water and soft sand. The hotel has advantages on the beach, drinks and cuisine today. • Restaurants: The hotel offers a unique dining experience, as the restaurants vary between oriental, pizza, seafood, and international cuisine. The buffet was very diverse with everything imaginable. Excellent quality and variety. • Spa and health club: The relaxing experience at the spa was amazing, with a range of resources and massages that help you relax and rejuvenate. • Entertainment and entertainment: The hotels team is very professional and arranges and organizes a day including water sports, yoga and airborne and international specials.

Media and responsible team:

Because the hotels entertainment team is better than the teams they cooperate with. They are professionals and are known for how they create to impress among the guests during annual shows, competitions, and evening parties. The result has come and they spread happiness everywhere, making the stay more enjoyable.

Service and maintenance:

The place is so clean that it is cleaned, both in the rooms and in the public areas such as the restaurants, reception, and beach. The team does a great job helping.

Ratings and value for money:

Although the hotel is in the category, the services it provides are worth every pound. The experience was outstanding compared to the price, as the guest received first-class service and unparalleled comfort.

Conclusion:

Agree with all, Rixos Radames is one of the best hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. Whether you are looking for leisure or entertainment, you need everything you need at this wonderful resort. I would recommend it to start with for anyone who wants to experience a leading tourist accommodation experience in one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Egypt. I will...
