Our experience was outstanding. From the delicious food to the customer service, accommodations, Revive Spa and the beautiful beach, we can’t say enough good things. There were activities planned for adults and children or you could choose to have a quiet time on the beach or relax by an “Adults 16+ only pool” and soak up the sun. We enjoyed snorkeling, a Disco for children, babysitting for your kids and the so much more. EVERY person we came in contact with was friendly and smiling. My mom was a customer service manager and I have been in customer service for 16+ years and it was, by far, the most amazing experience. We chose to go in the “off season” (early December) and found the weather to be very comfortable. Every day was just beautiful. The vistas from every point on the resort were lovely. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of it to exceed the expectations of anyone from any country. We ate mostly at the International Restaurant but also tried out the Thai Restaurant and Italian Restaurant which were just as fantastic. We met so many employees at the resort and everyone was kind, personable, professional, and remembered what we liked to drink and brought it to our table. When we had too many plates to carry, they were there to lend a helping hand. They went above and beyond and we simply have to list their names below and hope that they receive the praise they so richly deserve. If we could give them each some kind of bonus, we would. We hope you will be fortunate enough to come into contact with them. We will absolutely come back to stay again. It is well worth the money. We were impressed on how hard-working everyone is. They were there before we arose at 7:00 a.m. and were still working until 10:00 p.m. They were always busy, serving the needs of others, and with a smile and great attitude at all times. This includes security individuals, grounds keepers, and so many more. Throughout our stay, representatives would check in with us to be sure we were having a good time and address any concerns we may have. We never had any concerns. We have many fond memories we took with us when we left. Nady Emad – Bartender – Very friendly and personable, exuded a great deal of enthusiasm. Ahmed Aliabdaill – extremely friendly and helpful Abd Elhamed – he was our server in many of the restaurants and was so kind to us and my son. My son would also call him when he saw him and give him a hug. There are many things this resort does very well, and a few areas that could be improved to truly match the level this hotel aims to represent. My feedback is meant as a constructive review — not as criticism, but rather encouragement for improvement, because I would genuinely love to come back.||Highlights:| • The food was delicious and varied — we always found something we enjoyed.| • The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever needed.| • The entire territory of the hotel is beautifully maintained and truly Instagram-worthy.| • Pools are clean and well-kept, with plenty of space to relax around them.| • Lots of bars, terraces, and lounge areas spread throughout the resort.| • Beautiful coral reef just a few steps away — perfect for snorkelling.| • Evening shows were vibrant and well-organized — a joy to watch!| • A la carte restaurants were decent and made for a nice change of atmosphere.| • The entire territory felt safe and secure at all times.| • The rooms were beautifully decorated, a perfect balance between traditional and modern, and equipped with everything necessary.| • Room cleaning was regular, with towels changed daily.| • Transparent pricing — no hidden fees.| • The lobby has a very pleasant atmosphere and fresh, welcoming scent.| • Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold drinks and refreshing towels — a lovely touch.| • Most staff spoke fluent English and Russian, which made communication very easy.| • Free and fast Wi-Fi throughout the whole resort — huge plus!| • We even received a surprise room upgrade upon check-in — unexpected and very much appreciated.| • A special highlight was the Tal Avenue festival organized by Sunrise — an absolutely spectacular event and definitely one of the best moments of our entire trip!||What Could Be Improved:| • Room cleanliness details. While the room was overall clean and comfortable, some finishing touches were missing. The bathroom had some yellow stains on the silicone edges, especially around the shower drain, which didn’t look very hygienic. Also, some surfaces were constantly dusty, and I had to specifically point them out to be cleaned.| • Air conditioning odor. Occasionally, an unpleasant smell would come from the ventilation system and linger for hours — not a deal-breaker, but certainly uncomfortable at times.| • Cocktail quality at bars. The drinks were hit-or-miss. Some bartenders seemed to prepare them in a rush and without much balance. However, Ahmud, the bartender at the main pool bar, stood out — professional, skilled, and even able to recommend drinks when I was unsure. He was excellent!| • Daytime activities. I would have liked to see more diverse daytime programs and animation. Most days only offered aqua aerobics and yoga, which are great for some, but not everyone. Only on the last day did we enjoy a fully organized schedule — with darts tournaments, a magic show, etc.| • Sales pressure at the pool. This was the biggest inconvenience for me personally. While relaxing on the sunbed, we were repeatedly approached by people offering massages, excursions, photoshoots, makeup services, etc. Sometimes it felt like every 10 minutes someone new was trying to sell us something, and their approach was rather persistent. I understand this might be common practice in Sharm el Sheikh, but as a guest, it definitely disrupted the relaxation I was seeking by the pool.||⸻||Final Thoughts:||Despite a few areas for improvement, my overall experience at Sunrise Remal Beach Resort was wonderful. People make this place special. It's all about the service. Besides a few examples, the general feeling about this resort is relatively well.
Everything about the food was was really great I have to say that I couldn't resist the temptation. I was overeating, I did it almost every day. And there is no regret as the beverage and food department makes everything to provide you with the best food & drink experience. The food quality is very high I had no problems with my stomach so it means there is nothing to worry about as opposed to for example some places in Cairo. Here you can eat safely as much as you want but don't try to eat too much like I did as I gained additional 1.5 kilograms. With no regrets :) The entire Food & Beverage is on very high level. I appreciate their efforts. Great job & some creativity in there.
Polite & professional service was easy to observe in the lobby (next to the reception). Everyone from the lobby (2x Mohameds & Wissam) are so friendly, and positive, and works hard to make sure all customers have a great time. Speaking well English made our communication easy, and I think because of these people we will come back again to this place.
Abdul from housekeeping was very supportive every time we needed more water to drink or any other thing. Hard working and smiling. This is what customers need from housekeeping service!
The place that made us feel like home was the Shisha bar. And not only because of the delicious shisha flavours. Because of the service and the atmosphere. We felt great all of the time there. You will be welcomed like a proper guest there. You can feel relaxed, you can chill after a hot sunny day and diving/snorkelling. The staff is lovely, especially the main character of this place who is takes care of customers with a 5-star hotel level. We loved everything in the Shisha bar, and highly recommended it to everyone, not only to smokers.
At the reception, we found 2 very reliable people with a great approach and a high level of English: Marri and Hamza. Very friendly and super supportive!
Negative:
The most negative side of being there is russians. russian customers at that time were the most numbered nation in the whole resort. And this made our whole experience in the resort - not so perfect. Sometimes - it was very annoying, and sometimes it was hard to accept. I witnessed it all around the resort when not russians guests were exposed to rude and arrogant russians behaviour, sometimes it was shocking. They are churlish, coarse, and rustic to each other, to the service and to the guests from other countries. And the staff is speaking Russian better than English. Yes, it is true. And this made our whole experience in the resort - even worse. I was annoyed when the staff kept talking to me in Russian when I was answering in English, almost like they did not want to speak English. I had one conversation with a young man from the animation team who acted like he almost did not believe I am not russian and kept talking and talking and laughing. That was really strange and creepy. The service was great almost all around the hotel except the snack bar. The snack bar was chaotic there was a big mess inside the barman team. On some days it was a bad experience when we were trying to order something. Barmans were not friendly, they kept ignoring customers and talking to each other or on their phones. They were lazy and not organised. with only one exception - Salim. Salim was well organised and a reliable person. Great and friendly man and a skilled pizza maker. The tuna pizza was delicious!
Summary:
I do not think it is a 5-star hotel (looking at European standards). It is maximum 4 stars, some around 3.
