I have the worst experience ever at this place a day ago since the moment we arrived to this place if you can call it hotel. I traveled with my family as first time visiting this place , it was 14 of us, this place ruined our vacation totally, we came with really high expectations since this place is been promoted on social media as a great place to visit, I’m going to be honest the structure it’s nice but the customer service part, well they don’t have customer service at all, they didn’t greet is when we arrive not even with a welcome or hello, we have to ask to get help to get our 2 family rooms, once we got our rooms we were already hanging out by the pool they didn’t show up after 35 minutes until I went to look for a server to get help to order drinks, they started helping us with really bad attitude, anytime we want it to order more from the menu I have to go look for help, I would go to the front desk no one was there to assist they were all hanging out in the office with door closed to not assist. We got the biggest suite for 10 people they only had 4 towels I went to ask for 6 more towels they literally took an hour to deliver them with attitude, we were planing to go have dinner at 9 pm so we started to shower around 7 since this family suite is for 10 people with only one restroom, so the second we turn the shower faucet on there was not water coming out, no water neither to use the toilet we told them about this issue they were not willing to help at all they didn’t give is solution at all, instead they were giving us attitude like all that was our fault, so we have to leave the place look for another place to stay since they didn’t help us at all, we booked another place we have to pack again to leave this place because they were not able to help us, we had children, adults it was so inconvenient all this. The supervisor in charge and the rest of workers don’t have customer service skills, they are so unprofessional so disrespectful instead giving us answers or help us out they all would go into the office and not come out to help us out.

This is my first time having a horrible experience when I come to visit my country El Salvador, this place is THE WORST PLACE TO STAY here by the beach.

I recommend WAWI BEACH, ROCA SUNZA, LOS FARALLONES,IZALCO at costa del sol and Izalco, but NOT THIS PLACE CALL IXCHEL.

As a local, I can confidently say there are much better places to stay in the area. I came here to meet some friends visiting from the States, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this spot—despite what some local influencers may say. Their praise seems more about perks than actual experiences.

Service was disappointing. We had to constantly wave down staff just to get basic attention. I didn’t even bother trying the food because the poor service gave me little confidence—it just didn’t feel worth it.

A major issue: no fresh water in the rooms. You’ll be showering and brushing your teeth with saltwater. Yes, saltwater. The pool is also saltwater, which was not mentioned beforehand.

Now, I will say—the view is absolutely stunning. The sunsets here are some of the best you’ll see. But that alone doesn't justify the price or experience, especially when there are better, more welcoming options around for locals and visitors alike.

This hotel is located on a cliff. On the right you will see a rock in the shape of an elephant and on the left you can see and hear waves hit rocks that it creates a calm and relaxing sound that all you want to do is sit there and take it all in. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the rooms that we stayed in had balconies that overlooked the pool and restaurant, the restaurant was on the pricy side however there are restaurants very close to it and Tunco beach is only a few minutes away. The only thing you need to be aware of is that this hotel does not count with fresh water, so when taking a shower the same ocean water is used and the same applies to the pool.
