Hotel Martinez, Las Flores — Hotel in Departamento de San Miguel

We are so happy we stayed here!!!! This hotel is owned by 2 brothers who care so deeply and passionately about their business and have taken customer service to the next level!!! Upon arrival to the time we left, Kevin could not have done more for us ✨😊 The rooms are clean and simple, and the ambience of the property and cute little bar and restaurant, plus the pool and pool table and foosball table are nice extras, plus the 3 min it takes to walk to the beach, make this the perfect place to stay. The beach itself is also amazing! The locals were very friendly and welcoming and the beach was clean and the surf break is very good if you surf. The food and the drinks were very well priced and the food was absolutely delicious and made with clean healthy local ingredients 😁. This hotel is only going to keep getting better and better, as these young men have big plans for the future with expansion and renovations, and they truly understand what hospitality is! Do yourself a favor and stay here for at least 3 nights and rest and relax and enjoy and be pampered! We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night. We will back as soon as possible!!! A nice weekend getaway from S.S. It’s a beautiful property. The beach, which is a short 5 min walk, is one of the cleanest I’ve seen in SV. The rooms are on the small side (but why would you want to spend time in the room if you’re coming to a place like this). The food was delicious, the rooms were clean. Staff and service was excellent. The pool is on the smaller side. The hammocks were my favorite part. Perfect for solo travelers, couples and couples with teen kids and older. Personally, I don’t think this is the right place for couples with small kids due to the pool size only because the overall vibe I got was about relaxing. The entrance is a bit bumpy but nothing major; you’re in the countryside, one should always expect this when traveling throughout SV, especially in areas that are becoming more developed. I definitely want to return with my mother and cousins next...

I’ve been travelling for a while now and have stayed in many different places but this place has blown my mind. The location is perfect, close enough to the beach but far enough away to make it feel as though you are in the jungle. The staff have been amazing in making sure we were at home, safe and that we were comfortable. Super friendly and they make it feel like a home rather than a hotel. They can organise everything from local tour guides/surf guides to yoga teachers though the main thing is the food, some of the best food I’ve ever had. It’s cooked with love, large portions and is so delicious it was hard to eat anywhere else. If you are in the area, just pop in and try the ceviche or the pasta, it’s a must. Hats off to every one there and I’ll definitely be recommending this place to other travellers...
