I recently had the pleasure of visiting Paradise Surf Hotel for an afternoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and even offered complimentary coconuts, which was a delightful touch.
Our visit started with a tour of their stunning villa rooms. These rooms are truly a gem, featuring a large bed and a private terrace that offers breathtaking views of the ocean. We spent some time relaxing on the private hammock, soaking in the serene atmosphere. Even though the room was unoccupied that night, the staff kindly allowed us a few moments to take pictures, which we deeply appreciated.
After the tour, we headed to the pool area where we ordered some delicious appetizers and a few refreshing margaritas. The day pass service was an excellent choice, priced at $45 per person with $30 credit towards the menu. This was perfect for us as we couldn’t stay the night due to time constraints.
The staff at Paradise Surf Hotel were lovely, always attentive and kind. The views from the hotel are absolutely exceptional, unmatched by anything else in the area.
Overall, our short visit to Paradise Surf Hotel was filled with excellent service, stunning views, and delicious food. We are already planning our next trip to stay in one of the beautiful villa...
Read moreThis is a cozy eight room hotel, all of which have the basic amenities for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
I was able to enjoy fast wifi access, which is something I typically don't have when I stay in other places in El Salvador.
Each room has a working AC, smart TV with Netflix for a nice night in, hot running water, and coffee maker with complimentary coffee.
Apart from the very attentive service, this place is characterized by its stunning panoramic views of the ocean. There's nothing quite like it in the area. They have two rooms with fabulous direct sea views, as well, so you can enjoy this from the comfort of your bed.
The beach access is not immediate, and this was communicated to me prior to confirming my reservation. This was not a problem for us, as we enjoyed the short walk down. The pool area was our favorite, as you can enjoy the ocean views from here best. Our favorite part was enjoying our poolside boozy drinks watching the sunset.
It truly is a perfect place to unwind and relax. If you're looking to disconnect from the city a bit and simply enjoy a peaceful ambiance and very friendly service, we recommend this place without a doubt. It is very clean, great food, delicious drinks, and kind staff that are always ready to help. Thank you for our pleasant stay! We look forward to...
Read moreThis hotel is way overpriced for what it offers, which is very limited. I had a very bad experience, starting with the restaurant service. The waitresses were extremely slow and inconsistent — they would disappear for over an hour, and I had to literally look for them if I needed anything. Instead of helping customers, they were on their phones taking pictures and videos. It even took them over an hour just to prepare two drinks, which is unacceptable. The place was almost empty, yet they still didn’t care to check on us.
Later that night, things got even worse. The power went out for the whole night. There was no AC, and with 97°F outside, it was impossible to sleep. They only had one generator for lights, but nothing for the rooms. On top of that, there was no running water. I spoke to the staff about the AC and water, and all I got was a simple apology and, “there’s nothing we can do.” For the price we paid, that’s unacceptable.
The TV in the room was also extremely outdated — nothing worked properly except YouTube, and even that was frustrating. For a “hotel” of this price, it felt like a cheap downgrade.
To make matters worse, the pool also didn’t feel very clean. Overall, a really bad experience — definitely not...
