This is a beautiful place to stay. Thoughtfully decorated. The lounging area overlooks the mountains with so many plants, birds and butterflies around! There's also a lot of space to sit and relax outside. You can also walk around a little bit of the adjacent woods if you fancy.
The hosts and staff (David, Merari, Jimena) are warm, helpful and caring. I do not speak Spanish so there was a language barrier with some of the staff, but I got by absolutely fine with a translation app. They also helped me book a cab! The kitchen area is free to use (which is convenient if you want to use a refrigerator); they also made dinner for me respecting my dietary constraints.

Outside the rooms there’s a lovely garden with a variety of shared seating areas and several hammocks. The breakfast is great, and the hotel manager Jimena is also just so lovely. The breakfasts are filling, and Don Oscar made a seafood dinner for us one night. It’s hard to believe that this hotel only opened one month ago — it’s so perfect! I am sure will be very very successful. Gracias por todo, Don Oscar,...
Read moreMy hosts, David and Julie were AMAZING! David was also the architect of the hotel and he told me all about it, made me a cup of coffee when I got to the hotel and was just so kind and friendly. Truly one of a kind. Both David and Julie made a great breakfast the next morning and were so happy and friendly to me. I can't stop thinking about how warm and hospitable they were - I felt like I was a guest in their own home.
The hotel itself is charming and very quiet. Apparently it is fairly new, but it has the feeling of being old and charming -in a very good way.
If you go to Juayua you HAVE...
