Overall nothing which could not be fixed with better training for personnel and small fixes in the room.
Pros
the spa center is really cool and there are a lot of pools and saunas! The buffet table has a really nice variety for breakfast, lunch or dinner except for dessert. At least there was fresh fruit to choose from. Coffee was too light for my taste, but nothing that double espresso with a touch of milk does not fix ;) Rooms are nice and surprisingly quiet instant with hot water. I did not fancy the British style of faucets. procedures are great! We had sun room, massage, the capsule sauna, hand care (perhaps the most boring one) and refreshing body care with grapefruit body scrub.
Cons
The gym is crammed with nicely various, but outdated machines which from most electronical were out of order. late check in. We arrived on time but had to wait a long time for the room to be ready (it would be nice of them to offer a late check out at least.) the room key stopped working at second day I would not say rude, but unprofessional staff. When we were faced with the problem of rooms not being ready or keys stopping working, they did not offer even simple apologies. It looks like they are forced to be part of the machine here and they are here just for their salary. Rooms are nice. We had a junior suite with two rooms. In the living room the tv was not working, in the bedroom it was. But the tv picture quality is something from the last century and channels are meant for the Russian speaking population. No wonder the TV was out of order. The TVs themselves were from last decade. No smart tv to stream from your phone or tablet, not even USB input for the hard drive. And really, I do not have a habit of carrying a laptop with HDMI cable with me on spa weekends. Rooms were quite noisy. Not sure if it was the heater or our room was close to some kind of generator. But it really started to annoy me on the second day. to get something organized you have to speak russian. I personally do. Staff does not speak about anything else. Except simple "tere", "aitäh", "head aega". as for buffet tables: meat was cooked dry, eggs, even 4 minutes resulted as hard boiled (which would be expected...
Read moreOverall a good place to visit if you consider price per value.
I visited during off-season and it wasn't busy at all, in fact there were very few people, which is an advantage in my mind.
There is a free parking area right near the building - just need to register your car first.
Place is relatively fresh, looks great and modern. it's generally clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Also, you can drink from the tap water, the water comes from within ground water deep of 100 meters and it's of great taste and quality, so give it a try ! Too bad staff didn't know about that (reception), when I've asked about it.
My room was good, had everything I've needed. One of the light bulbs were broken though. It was clean, but occasionally I could hear neighbors so it's not perfect. WiFi was working but I haven't used it much.
Spa services and sauna complex was good, there is quite a large variety of saunas to choose from, so everyone should find what they prefer or try them all.
When visiting sauna complex, I did get a broken strap with a key that wouldn't properly close on my wrist and it could've been potentially lost in the pool because of that, so beware. Few of the faucets in the men's shower area didn't work properly so you have to wait for others to finish before you can wash yourself, not good.
Food was excellent, the buffet variety and options were really good, I've managed to try everything and it was definitely highlight of my stay. Their desserts are wonderful, I would stay away from their pastries as these are not good at all, croissant gets 2/5 from me, why even bother having them in the menu ?
There is also a large variety of spa services, and they all have been great experience, so make sure you book something while visiting.
Location is good and you can visit nearby beach, it's within a short walking distance. Unfortunately you can't get to any shops that easily as they are quite far...
Read moreIt's nice that they have bunch of Saunas, and two pools outside, a hot jacuzi and one cold one. They give out free lemon water in the pool area.
Issues come here though. It's marketed as recently renovated, but tiles are missing from the sauna seats and walls.
Locker room was a bit of a mess, you are given a locker and they're given in order. Out of three rows of lockers 10 people were stuck on 1 row and we had to wait out strangers to finish changing as there's very little room. Speaking of the keys, their bracelets are in bad conditions (torn) and the bar system relies on your locker number that's written on the braclet. The bar could be easily abused as they mistook my number and I had to correct them so that the bill wouldn't go strangers. Showers are pretty small and kinda dirty. The view out of the huge window is on a destroyed old house, kind of ugly. Lastly this is very close to Noorus' price which to be fair is better in many aspects. Go there instead. The view is better and you get to pick your lockers using RFID...
