Meloodia — Restaurant in Narva-Jõesuu linn

Same as other review here. Food was quite poor unfortunately, can't recall beeing so disappointed. And really not one to write rewiews often, especially on the negative side. Beef was not only hard to chew but even hard to cut. Dish we ordered for child (wasn't off the child menu, bust seemed right) was actually rather spicy that wasn't mentioned in the menu or mentioned by waitress, who knew we were ordering for a toddler (maybe she was new, and didn't know?) . We split the older child's meal and made do. We had to go ask for desserts ourselfes after a very long wait, and when we did realised why the waitress didn't come round to offer- there were no deserts left... Place was mostly empty whole time, so hard to imagine why there weren't enough, but there was a wedding celebration in another room, so I'll assume that's the reason... I guess the staff were buisier than seemed, and they are generally friendly, so trying not to bring them down... Still dissapointed enough to have to mention, and since not the first to feel this way seems it's not a subjective assessment. Breakfast is nice though, so that saves things a little bit. Just...

К кухне никаких претензий, было вкусно и красиво. Сочетание продуктов понравилось, даже несмотря на их не сочетаемость: треска в беконе – было вкусно, хотя я не любитель сочетать рыбу и мясо. Десерты тоже на уровне, хороший баланс сладкого и кислого, в общем, очень вкусно. Для ресторана 4-х звездочного отеля кухня полностью соответствует, цена, кстати, тоже. Цена и качество соответствуют.

Обслуживание приятное, дружелюбное, но не профессиональное. Милые девушки, и в принципе, по-настоящему дружелюбные, а не «натянуто-профессионально» как у опытных уставших официантов)). К сожалению, нарушили правило «не приносить за столик на двоих еду в разное время». Нельзя за стол (особенно если сидят два человека) приносить блюда отдельно для каждого человека если это не обговаривалось заранее при заказе, блюда за столик для двоих обязательно приносятся одновременно. Даже если одно блюдо было приготовлено чуть раньше, то оно должно стоять на «подогреве» и ждать, когда будет готово другое. А в прошлый визит без уточнения пожелания принесли чай в самом начале и ко времени десерта он уже остыл.

Но в принципе, девушки, молодые, симпатичные, и в целом стараются, поэтому это не в претензию им, а скорее предупреждение для клиентов чтобы озвучивали все свои пожелания, так как официанты непрофессионалы и не уточняют...

Pretty disappointed in the experience. The service was nice but by 21:30 there was only one main course available out of three basically. They were out of fish and one plate of duck was left so in essence - do you want a burger or do you want a burger? The burger was okay though - emphasis on okay.

The courses were served in a hurry. Not once were we asked if we would like to move...
