Mazeki Addis Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Addis Ababa

This place was okay. They say they offer a shuttle but no shuttle showed up at the time of my arrival. I asked for the driver’s number before I arrived but there was no number provided. I had to pay 1000 birr to get a ride from a taxi driver. What’s more maddening is that they kicked me out of my room the same day that I checked in. I was supposed to check in at midnight on the 17th and check out at midnight on the 18th (picture attached below). But instead they rushed me out of my room before midday on the 17th. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the complimentary breakfast is quite nice for the price. The staff is also quite pleasant and helpful. The room itself was decent but we were tormented by mosquitos at night, even if we keep the windows closed (we literally killed 30 in one evening). It was also very loud outside, as our room was facing a bar which played loud music until morning hours. Price Performance was excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Still some things missing like television or shower curtain. But the service was brilliant. Breakfast was good with national and international options. They offered us to order breakfast to the room! They were very flexible with our booking and storing luggage.
