Grand Bakery — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

Great spot if you're in the mood for pizza. They also have mini-pizza's on the go if you're looking for a snack or breakfast. Their muffins are also amazing. But customer service is infuriating. I always wonder why I subject myself to their ignorance everytime I go there. The cashier will literally ignore you like you never existed. I don't know what I did to her, I always pay upfront. But if you can endure that, the baked goods...

I literally followed my nose to get to this place: I went jogging in the cool at sunrise, and the smell of fresh baking was so wonderful that I retraced my steps a few hours later just to find it again.

I was not disappointed: they make a terrific selection of breads, pastries, pizzas and more. Naturally, the Ethiopian coffee was sensational.
