Florida International Hotel — Hotel in Amhara Region

Florida hotel, even though I don't understand why most Ethiopian hotels being named with foreign name - this hotel is the best for local entertainment they have a nice size of swimming pool that you can swim with the hot day. We have pizza beer and London Gordon Jin , I'm very pleased that my drink was original some place they give you a mixed local Gin instead of the original London Gordon Jin our pizza was missed ordered but they corrected after we served . their hospitality is the best that reflects local people which I'm proud of as we went from the back of the pool to the main dining room they are serving candle night dinner two days a week Thursday and Sunday I'm very relaxed with their candlelight and with their smooth Ethiopian classical old music I think this hotel will be the best for the future even though I did not get a chance to stay overnight in the hotel but with my experience it is the...

We spent two nights here whilst visiting the sights of Gonda. I am suspicious of any African hotel named Florida- pretentious nonsense when there are so many more suitable African names form which to choose.|The rooms were good; excellent beds; clean bathrooms. |Sadly, the staff are hopeless. I suspect they have never been trained and are generally uncertain about their roles. The exception is the fairly new young chef whom we talked to about the menu which listed 80 + dishes . It's got nice staff who are helpful sometimes but the electricity didn't work on our floor for a long time while the other floors had it it does have a pool all though it's not clean and has bits of sticks and leaves in it it's all murky as well when we had breakfast and dinner we asked for some of the foods and they said they didn't have means or eggs and so on... The food was good though.
