Stayed one night. There is free parking nearby but you can also park the car near to your cabin (I preferred not to, too many people going by). The cabins are big and very, very clean. The cleanest I have seen so far. There is also a small kitchen. My cabin was number 18, at the very end meaning it would take me a long walk to reach the bathroom very time. The view was nice, with the forest and the sea nearby. Very peaceful.||||The downside was the crowds. It was full of people, caravans and camping tents. The number of toilets and shower is not enough to accommodate all those people. The bathrooms get really crowded, with people waiting there or just coming in and out every second. Looking at that made me wonder what the point of months long border closure really was if you let people crowd in small bathrooms like that? I don't care but it is pointless in my view.||||Also, it is not really fair to people who paid for cabins. I paid over 100 EUR for the cabin for one night and I have to share the bathroom with caravan and tents people who paid less than half of what I paid, and had to wait for them to use the toilet. I think those people should have their own...

I paid 20€/1 tent/1 person/1 night. The unique aspect of this place is the location, it’s in the middle of the city in a park. There’s a lot of room for tents, don’t worry about space running out. Sauna was not included in the price, which I found disappointing. 30€ for 1 hour for 1 person was also a bit steep, but the sauna was anyway booked out for the evening. Unfortunately the opening hours of the restaurant were not what’s listed on Google, so when I wanted to grab dinner the kitchen was already closed. I’d have appreciated the staff pointing this out at check-in. At my previous camp site the staff did just that so I was able to first grab dinner before setting up the tent there. But on the other hand you’re right in Mariehamn, so you can quickly go somewhere else for food. The beach facilities looked a bit neglected, the pier itself was barred off. There is a nice beach a bit further north though. There are many other small annoyances: Some showers smell pretty bad, the shower timer is ridiculously short, requiring you to hit it every couple of seconds, the list goes on.

TLDR; pricey for what’s offered. Not bad, but not...

I have only been to a couple of camping sites in my life and compared to those I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of Gröna udden. The beach looked lovely, but we only used the sauna area for swimming and it was perfect as well, even though I'm quite picky. The only downside were the steps leading into the water; they were old, slippery and wobbly and quite dangerous if you're not careful - please replace the steps and add a bannister! Also, one of the lamp cords in hut 3 was peeled out so that the wires were visible, which is not safe. Other than that, I have only good things to say about the place. The huts were adequately equipped (good pillows!) and I liked the common cooking area. The showers/toilets were also adequate. I would gladly return to Gröna udden in the future. Thank you for a...

Excellent location. Peaceful and calm environment. Every cabin has it's privacy. Easy access from the city centre and easy to find. 15 minutes walk from the centre. The greenery nature makes a pleasant surrounding. So it is recommended to anyone who needs a stay to relax. The cabins are Well maintained .But the size of the cottage is quite small for 4 people. 2 bunk beds, a table and 3 chairs were there in the cabin. So if occupied by 4 people, it will be packed. Also it will be perfect if the cabin has it's own private bathroom. Because the common bathroom is quite far away from the cabins which located at the corner of the location. The common bathroom is rather clean . The beach is peaceful but needs more cleaning.

First time camping, easy to book a space for my tent at the reception when I arrived, it was €22 and I could choose anyplace I liked in the designated area. I was able to find many places to charge my phone, the fasted place was definitely the kitchen. Free showers and kitchen with microwave, fridge, hotplate, and sinks you can use, but I there were no pots/pans/utensils to use. For laundry you must book a 3 hour time slot at the reception and it is €7. I absolutely loved the location, everything is less than 5 minutes biking distance away! And I liked that in a tent you are not forced to leave until 14:00
