At first, instead of booked twin room there was room with single bed for single person (not even double bed). The phone number you get with booking does not answer after 4pm. We had to book another single room in couple of hrs to get sleep; answer to e-mail came late in the evening, with note the original room IS for 2 people (no, see the photo). There was switch to another room and guys moved to new room next day.||||Then, last evening of the stay, returning from work, all the personal things from room were gone! Everything! Luggage, computers, chargers - name it! Things you leave in hotel room when going out. The phones almost no batteries left, had to call the the number for 24hrs service, what seemed to be some service center, not people connected with the hotel. The guy from there get hold hotel manager who said the things are all stored but they cannot get them now but just in the morning. However, after three calls and couple of hrs guys get their stuff back quite late in the evening.||||When sending e-mail asking back money for the additonal room and also some compensation for removing things from room there was just self-justifing and NO apologizes in 5 e-mails at all! Also no name and/or title of the person mailing me back! Mails were pretty rude, talking about force majeure - meaning computer system not working (or that's what they wrote) and that's why they get no info what kind of room is needed (but they did know well at Friday night) or for how long! However, at Friday the original booking was sent them with all data, when asking for twin room instead the singe we got so they HAD all data. ||||Also, to the question how come things just get removed from room without connecting the customer when it's clearly seen there are not just things forgotten there we never got normal answer. ||||Do not go there, there are other options...
Read moreTwo adults and one child were straying at the Pii Hotel for one night in June, 2018. The surroundings was terrible - near a viaduct, in some kind of industrial part of the town. First of all we had to overcome three coded doors before entering our room. This, by the way, was not simple. No staff, luckily there was a dirty phone which made it possible to get in touch with somebody from the staff. After a long play (about 30 minutes) with different codes we finally came to our room door on the second floor. Codes again. None of the codes we had been provided in an SMS worked. Contacting the staff through that dirty corridor phone again to get another code. Finally we got into the room. What's inside? Nothing too splendid. Curtains were too short to cover the entire window, so the night was not fully dark there. No fridge. No microwave. No coffee machine. No kettle. No air conditioning. Sauna for extra payment (Finns, shame on you for this!). NO PRIVATE BATHROOM, though it had to be included. No additional bed for a child, though they say this room is for two adults and one kid. Of course, no breakfast included. But, yes, there was a TV set. And it worked (wow). Luckily there was a private shower and WC. The shower fixer was too loose, so one hand was not for washing, but for holding the shower fixer. Conclusion: 59 euros for this kind of accommodation is a low price for Finland, but you could get a much better place in any other country. Next time we will choose some...
Read moreFacilities were good, room was spacious and very clean. Slightly worn out, but clean! Nice amount of towels, lots of space. Easy-ish to check in; although you need to open a poop ton of doors with a pin code before accessing your room, and the doors close up ASAP after you. A massive inconvenience when you have a lot of luggage... The room was slightly cold, and no machine to turn up the heat. Not enough curtains to block the light from outside. Scenery not anything to enjoy, industrial area. Due to the covid situation, wasn't sure if the breakfast is available or not, and no idea about the quality or price (knowing from local experience, probably too pricey for...
