Fantastic. This camping was the best we've ever visited. Everything you need and want is here. You can cleary see this is a well managed campsite. A lot of things are thought through. We had high expectations that seemed too low for our real life experience.||We stayed for 2 weeks and due to circumstances we were offered to stay in very luxuous 6p caravan. Wow. After 1200km with nagging tired kids. Thank you so much. The caravan was brand new and making us questioning why we brought our tent in the first place. We never go back to the same area, this place has us making wondering to return and or rent a beautiful caravan. Next day, the staff showed us which places came free, driving us around showing the sites. Wow again. We found another one and set up our tent there. We lost our son first day and again they drove us around telling us happens all the time first day. Wow again. We found our son and were so thankful. There is a warm swimming pool, never used it, although the kids loved it for some strange reason. We ourselves loved the cooling wind in the open unwarmed pool (not too cold at all). All the staff is very friendly, helpful, respectful and committed to keeping the rules respectfully. After 2300 it is quiet. Wow again. Animation in english french and dutch. Kids loved it. Wow. Campsite is mixed with dutch/french/english people. Everything is kept exceptionally clean, the bbq's on site are great. There is enough to see and do in the area, however sometimes it requires a drive longer than 25 minutes. We tried to minimalize our driving time, and did not see all we wanted but saw enough to suck up the french atmosphere. Running and cycling is possible and recommended. The bread on site is good quality, store is great, just basic things you need and dont want to drive for it, prices are ok, considering the effort saved. Pizzas are fine although room for improvement. (thinner crust/wood oven baking) paella tasted very well (monday's) ||||To the owners/managers and friendly staff thank you all for a wonderfull stay. To people reading this review, i can advise to search no further.||||suggestions for minor safety improvements (which says it all, we cant find anything else!)||- labeling the debth of the swimming pool with a no diving sign||- The camping sign at the entrance blocks the...
Read moreJust returned from a lovely 10 days at Luberon Parc. This is a relatively small and very pretty site with good facilities and really nice staff - super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Any minor problems were sorted out quickly and with good grace. ||||Our cottage (Alpilles) was large, relatively new and spotless when we arrived. Having two bathrooms and a dishwasher was great. Though the best feature was the large outside decking area, a perfect place for enjoying the summer evenings with some of the excellent local wine.||||The vibe is relaxed and fairly quiet. This site is ideal for those with smaller children or wanting to use it as a base for exploring the local area. For our children (ages 4 and 2) it was perfect. Some nice touches were the bouncy castles and the indoor pool, as well as mini disco and activities like children’s face painting. There didn't seem to be many teenagers - perhaps they are best served by some of the larger villages with more going on.||||The views to the Luberon are great and it is only a few minutes walk to to centre of the local village, Charleval. We did a couple of day trips, one to Lourmarin (very pretty village in the Luberon), to Avignon and to some of the local vineyards. ||||The campsite also kindly called us the day before our arrival to say our cottage was ready an offer an early arrival time the following day, which we gratefully accepted.||||In summary: small and perfectly formed, and the staff were especially good. We had a brilliant time and...
Read moreJust back from our stay. We did not hire a car and worried we may regret it we needn't have as the staff were amazing helping me figure out local bus's and so on. Local village is beautiful. The activity's on site were plentiful kids really enjoyed these. Kids loved the staff who were consistently friendly and cheerful towards them. There is loads to do in the area if you love the outdoors loads of trails to run and great cycle routes into the hills stunning scenery campsite is very well laid out. Cabins were very well equipped. Although if I was to go again I'd upgrade the bigger cabins which are also situated in nice parts of the site some looking into the woods which would have been nice. Found prices were all resonable for bar restaurant. Lovely market in the village on Saturday also adventure climbing parc across the road. Only small thing was one of the nights there was a party in the tennis club a cross the road which went on most of the night with loud music non stop. But the staff did put signs of this event up in the campsite to inform guests. I'm glad it was just for one night. We throughly enjoyed our stay and I would go back possibly hire a car as there is loads to do in the area (theme parks etc) I loved the pools pitches and general atmosphere, staff and management were lovely. Site is spotless and very quiet and peaceful all u can hear are the crickets and birds wonderful
Can't fault anything.
