Chalets Tâmo — Hotel in Albertville

Jan 2023 - we stayed for a week in Chalet Le 1992. We were a group of 7 adults - family and friends - and we absolutely loved everything about our stay. The chalet itself is beautiful - from the excellent ski & boot room to the wonderfully appointed bedrooms - Sylvain and his team have thought of absolutely everything - the whole experience feels really luxurious. We especially loved the outdoor hot-tub and the sauna with view over the mountains and the beautiful kitchen, living and dining area and the delicious fresh cooked breakfasts each day. The chalet is in a perfect location in Le Praz, just a couple of minutes walk across to the Alpinium and the gondola up to 1850 ( which runs all day and all evening). This means that as well as being great for skiing and access to the whole 3 vallees area, you can enjoy all the good restaurants and bars in Le Praz village, and you can have an evening out in 1850 that's only a 5 min gondola ride away. But the absolute best thing about Chalets Tamo is Sylvain and his team who provide a truly 5 * bespoke concierge service throughout your stay - from ski hire to restaurant reservations to activity bookings and even collecting your grocery shopping - nothing is too much trouble. Sylvain grew up in Le Praz ( along with his sister who also runs the excellent Olympic Sports ski shop in Le Praz) and really knows the area inside out. We have stayed in many ski resorts and chalets over the years, but none as good as this. We would not hesitate to recommend and we will of course be back. Thank you Sylvain...

Chalets Tamo

Just returned home from an unforgettable 5 night stay at Chalets Tamo. Our chalet was recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful. Location is ideal with shopping, restaurants and ski lifts nearby. What really stood out for us, though, was the level of service and attention to detail. Sylvain and his staff (super special shout out to Val) were absolutely amazing! Whether it was assistance with booking our dinner reservations and ski rentals, helping us arrange our in chalet massages or discreetly providing us with a basket of kindling because we were so bad at building fires, no ask was too big or too small. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the spa was perfect for helping us relax in the evenings. We typically do not return to the same holiday destination over and over, but Chalets Tamo in Courchevel Le Praz will certainly be an exception. Absolutely flawless from start to finish. Sylvain & the team (Val & Pauline) have every angle covered from the moment you arrive to the day you leave. Nothing is too much trouble. Attention to detail is unbelievable. The chalet is so cosy & immaculate really giving the “home from home” feel. It’s in the perfect location to fully enjoy 1850 & Le Praz. The most delicious breakfasts served every morning removes any stress & allows for the perfect start to your day. Returning from a day of skiing to delicious cakes and the sauna on & primed. Sylvain is on hand & available to help in anyway possible at the drop of a hat. I honestly couldn’t find fault with anything. We were made to feel so welcome, cared for & part of their family which made it very difficult when it came time to leave.
