We stayed with our whole family in the Calgary for one week.||We had several normal bedrooms and the suite. The suite was nice. New bathroom and toilet (modern). 2 bedrooms and walk-in closet.||The living was big enough. The only thing is that the sofa isn't really nice to sit on, because the pillows slide away. It's a bed also, so that explains. Beds are firm, you'll love it, or hate it. It depends on you're preference. ||So, overal for the suite: good!|Keep in mind you need to take stairs (if you're a bit disabled).||The other rooms were also good. Really loved it that the toilet is seperated from the bathroom (haha!). Always a good thing. Good closets also for all your ski stuff. Nothing to complain.||Let's talk about the food and start with the thing that can improve.||Breakfast is served between (around) 0700 and 0945 hours. Several times the small and nice French breads (pain au chocolat and pain au raisan) were already gone at 0845 hours. That was a bit of a pity. But the rest of the buffer was satisfying.||Dinner.... LOVED IT. Every evening we got a 5-course dinner. Everyday a complete different menu. Surprising dishes. I'll add the pictures of the dinners. Dishes came fast. ||A big applaus for the hard working staff. In the restaurant there were a couple of staff members who were working around the clock. You'll meet them at breakfast and then again at dinner. Professionals. Respect. Really young team, but so good.||The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are nice to enjoy after some skiing. ||Loved my stay. ||So,...
Read moreThe hotel itself is ideally located close to the slopes so in the morning you can get out your skis and boots from the heated locker and are only moments away from taking the chair lift to the higher slopes which is a great selling point.||||The hotel itself is very clean and offers lovely views of the slopes. There is also a small spa area which is nice after a day out skiing and a bar which does lovely cocktails.||||For me personally, I didn't get a great nights sleep as the beds and pillows are quite firm (I prefer soft beds) and when you're on the first floor you do hear a lot of noise from rooms above and next doors toilet flushing! Fine if you're a heavy sleeper but I was quite frustrated by this and whilst I appreciate there is nothing the hotel can do about the noise, some better pillows would be nice!||||We also had an issue with the booking where we had requested a twin room and were originally provided with a double. Whilst the hotel dealt with this for us until they were shown the email where they had confirmed the double a month prior it felt as if they implied we had made the mistake and they were suggesting the extra charge for the room we were put in. This didn't ruin our stay but it was a bit disappointing.||||If you're after a comfortable stay in clean accomodation the hotel is worth considering but personally I won't...
Read moreThis hotel was perfect for all types of skier and age range. Good food, with excellent cheeses and small but adequate swimming pool and sauna.||However, don't go with CLASSIC SKI based in the uk v bad. I was abandoned at Geneva airport for seven hours, alone with all my baggage for my return. I had to ski alone with my excellent instructor but this meant that my days were spent on my own a very lonely week. I did not see anyone from classic ski and was not told I would be returned so early. Apparently this was my fault because I did not live in London and the other six did! I booked because I was assured that I would be skiing with like minded people, this was a completed falsehood.these people do not look after you. I felt completely abandoned I spent a lot of time in my room since there was nothing else for a single person to do, after a walk into the little town a swim and a read in the bath. A good job the hotel and town were good, otherwise it would have been a complete disaster. The skiing...
