Alike the title, it's a great place if you're looking for a hotel near the famous landmark, Mont Saint Michel. ||||We arrived at the hotel with the car, and it was very dark. It took us almost 15 minutes to find the hotel (it was very difficult). Our GPS was only able to bring us to the street, not the exact location as we couldn't enter the street number. As we found it, we noticed that there was very little lighting at the entrance; there are very small signs (which are unlit, rendering them useless at night) from the hotel. ||||We were able to park our car pretty much in front of our room, therefore, parking was not a problem. The room isn't very trendy, but quite neat. The Cross symbol was also present in the room, which made us feel very welcome, but I'm unsure whether it pleases everyone...||||The next day, it took me around 5 minutes straight figuring out how to turn on the shower. You wouldn't move the knob to the left, right, upwards or downwards, rather diagonally. However, this is not that much of an issue. ||Breakfast (€6 per person) was worth it. Breakfast was in the owner's own house. There were a wide variety of choices from the breakfast table. ||||I do recommend this hotel, it is worth it, especially if you're looking for a place which is close to the...
Read moreThe best value to see Mont Saint MIchel.||We parked in the free spaces and were met by the host who showed us the room and answered questions in English. The room had everything we needed and more-closet, bathroom (we had expected to share but there was a huge bathroom ) and even coffee set up. We had originally asked to rent bikes and it took a while for him to get them out and they aren't the best quality, but they got us through the beautiful town and along the river to the Mont and back. ||We were able to have a late breakfast with yes the famous homemade jams and more types of food items than anywhere else we stayed. He also allowed us to have a little later check out time.||If you don't like feeling like you are close to someone's home or eating in their knicknack filled dining room, this might not be the place for you. But if you are open to that, it is an amazing price...
Read moreThe owner was really kind and helpful and spoke enough English. We chose to stay here because we didn't want to pay the 12 euros for parking at Mont St. Michel. We walked the 30 minutes along the damn on the bike path to the parking lot with free shuttles. You can also rent a bike from him for 5 euros for half a day. The room was very outdated and desperately needs new towels and rugs and decor. It didn't feel super clean. It worked for a night and the bed was soft and shower hot but very basic and old room. WiFi was so so slow. Stayed here to save money. Also they ask for no noise or showers after 10pm...
