Camping Beauséjour — Hotel in Béziers

This is my 3rd time coming to this campsite, and although it is located in a nice location, with a private entrance to the beach, there is a huge problem that this campsite needs to fix: the Cabins.

The Cabins themselves are ok to live in, you have everything that you would need. But the problem with these cabins is that they are not sealed. In every single cabin in have been here over the past 3 years i had the same problem that the cabins aren’t sealed. This means that whenever you want to store food in the kitchen there will be ants everywhere (see attached foto) . This year it was even that bad, that on the day i arrived there were already ants in my bed!!! Basically there are holes everywhere in the cabin so that ants and other insects can get in. And this needs to be fixed ASAP, because i sure there are many out there that would enjoy this campsite but wont come if they hear that there are ant colonies in the cabins....

Wir waren eine Woche mit unserem Wohnmobil auf diesem schönen Campingplatz, direkt am Meer. Wir (2 Erwachsene und ein Kind, 4 Jahre) konnten einige Eindrücke sammeln, die ich Euch nicht vorenthalten möchte.

An der REZEPTION wurden wir wirklich sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Personal dort konnte fließend Deutsch und Englisch. Außerdem wurden uns alle Fragen ausführlich beantwortet. Der Bezahlvorgang verlief äußerst zuvorkommend und unkomlpiziert.

Der STELLPLATZ (219) ist sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man gerne etwas Schatten möchte. Die meisten Stellplätze liegen wirklich idyllisch und durch Bäume, Hecken und Sträucher etwas sichtgeschützt. Man kann es sich dort sehr gemütlich machen. Auf Grund des sandigen Untergrundes ist jedoch ein Markisenteppich unbedingt angebracht. Außerdem gibt es dort viele Ameisen und sehr viele Stechmücken die lästig werden können. Vier Punkte gibt es von mir für den Stellplatz.

Die SANITÄRANLAGE ist meines Erachtens mit das Wichtigste an einem Campingplatz. Diese hier vor Ort (3 Waschhäuser insgesamt) müssten dringend saniert werden. Da den ganzen Tag geputzt wird, ist es aber trotzdem sehr sauber und absolut ausreichend. Es gibt allerdings keine seperaten Handwaschbecken mit Seife. Wenn viel los ist, ist die Temperatur des Wassers kaum noch zu verstellen. Man hat dort auch keine Steckdosen für bspw. einen Föhn oder Rasierer. Von mir gibt es für die Sanitärs 2 Sterne.

Das RESTAURANT: Das Essen, das wir uns dort bestellt hatten (Take Away), war nicht wirklich gut. Das ist natürlich immer Geschmacksache, deshalb möchte ich dies nicht zu stark bewerten. Dass es jemandem, der dem Französischen nicht mächtig ist, kaum möglich ist etwas zu bestellen finde ich persönlich frech. Selbst mit Englisch kommt man dort kaum zurecht. Möchte man im Restaurant essen, sollte man unbedingt einen Tisch vorbestellen.

Die LAGE und der POOL sind ein Traum. Allein hierfür lohnt es sich hier Urlaub zu machen. Unser Kleiner hatte am Pool einen riesen Spaß mit der tollen Rutschinsel und konnte sich richtig austoben. Richtung Strand gibt es noch einen großen Spielplatz. Für ältere Kinder ist hier aber wenig geboten. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist sehr schön. Der breite und vor allem saubere Sandstrand verhindert ein großes Gedränge. Das Meer selbst war eine tolle Erfrischung. Was uns etwas störte war die laute Abendunterhaltung der Nachbarcampingplätze, die bis 23 Uhr überall zu hören ist. Für Lage und Pool vergebe ich vier Sterne.

FAZIT: Ein schöner Urlaub mit kleinen Abstrichen. Wir sind froh, dass wir die Fahrt auf uns genommen haben. Wir werden uns jedoch noch viele weitere Campingplätze anschauen und wahrscheinlich nicht mehr zu diesem...

We paid 190€ for 2nights. Reservation done 4month before, they gave us a pitch right at the pool/boule ground, most crowded ever. After asking for another one, they offered 3 options, one worth then another. Either, first after main gate, corner to main road or heading to toilet station. The three places we asked for remained free the two nights we stayed. Sorry to say but the site isn't worth it, they cheat on short stays. Too big, too many kids left playing alone, terrible pitch (just sand and gravel). The best been the sanitary cleaning staff doing a hell of a job keeping the sanitary clean * for them. I would be ok paying 10€ for the site if the cleaning staff gets 80€ for their business a day. That would balance the value! Go else where but this site...
