We had a wonderful family stay at Le Brame de Sologne. The hotel is calm and welcoming, just a short drive from Chambord. What really stood out was the friendly and flexible team—the owners kindly helped us when we accidentally booked for the wrong dates (June instead of July), and they changed our reservation free of charge, which we really appreciated!
The snack options on site are surprisingly good, making it easy to relax and enjoy a meal without needing to hunt for a restaurant after a busy day of exploring. Our whole family enjoyed the outdoor pool, which is clean and a perfect size for both adults and children to have fun and unwind.
Everything was spotless, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff always had a smile. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and great service close to the...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise this hotel was. It started with great parking outside the entrance and continued with the best reception of any hotel on this trip. I wish I remembered the name of the girl at the reception because she was excellent and deserves the extra mention. Our room was a good size for a family room with much higher standard than expected. If it had a bit more decorations on the walls you could have mistaken it for any five-star hotel. Breakfast was good and had an ok price for what it offered. They have a nice lobby area you can sit in but unfortunately the lights go out automatically in the evening so you can't really use it. That is probably the only complaint, except maybe the price for car charging but that is nitpicking. Overall, the stay was great, and the place is top notch...

We liked that the car park and hotel frontage was secure and private, which helps the neighbours too I guess as it’s in quite a residential area. This means there’s not a huge amount to do within walking distance, but we did find a couple of nice bar/restaurants nearby. Also about a ten minute drive away is the Chateau de Chambord, which is absolutely well worth the visit. The hotel has the facility to provide some food but it isn’t a restaurant, we had a delicious quiche with salad - if it had some little sauté potatoes on the side it would have been amazing. All in all I would...
