Liked: So this site deserves all the positive reviews it receives. Upon arrival you are greeted by the owner and directed to any one of the pitches you like.
Once there, you have plenty of room. Most of which are adjacent to a nicely flowing river. Shade is in abundance and you are never to far away from a toilet block. Which I must say are SPOTLESS. The water was plentiful and at the perfect t temperature. On top of all that you have a really good cafe/restaurant on site. Where the service is impeccable and the food quality is excellent value for money. I would as served by a Dutch guy both nights, Cant remember his name but, nothing was to much. Live music and be night, which was fun but not loud, to spoil the tranquillity at the pitch. There is a small area for children to play, which is viewable from the bar area. How perfect. I enjoyed staying here and would definitely go back again, and am recommending it to anyone.

This is mostly a camping for camping cars, which stay there a long time already. I could choose the spot I liked, so that was okay. The facilities are clean. It has a nice bar where you can sit, which was quite lively in the evening. The price was good for a solotraveler. The one thing I didn't like is that some camper car owners had there radio on whole evening and even a TV quite loud till 2 am. Booked an overnight stay at Chalaronne on our way to Spain. We had a 6p cabin that was a bit small but with just a single stay and parking next to it we could not complain. Very friendly owner only speaks a bit English but we where able to manage communication well. There is a small river next to the camp site and a restaurant/bar at the entrance. Besides that there is not much to do. On our way back we booked an extra night to visit some vineyards in the Beaujolais region. I would absolutely recommend this to all...
