Everything was perfect! There was nothing to dislike. Marine and Raphael are brilliant hosts, from the warm welcome we received to the goodbye they could not have been more kind and helpful.|The overall feel of this venue is typically rustic French and homely. We had two rooms at this venue, both were gorgeous and are a lovely size with en-suites, comfy beds, lots of towels and toiletries supplied. Breakfast was amazing, home made jams, yogurt, cake and bread, fruit and lots of coffee. We had use of a fridge and microwave in a separate pool room which had a table and chairs, and a little sofa. We are able to prepare a simple lunch here which was a bonus. The garden and pool area was lovely with enough sun loungers for all guests, pool towels were provided too. There is parking for guest cars at the venue too. The venue is a short drive (5mins) to Cotignac village, or a 30-40 min walk. I stayed here on a business trip (wedding hairstylist). I was warmly welcomed into my beautiful room with a view of the pool and garden. This place is a serene gem in the heart of Cotignac. A short drive into the village with restaurants for food. ||They do have a lovely pool room here where you can store drinks/food and even prepare food if needed. ||The breakfast is lovely. We absolutely loved our time at La Bastide de Muir, Marine and Raphael were exceptional hosts, we had a very special time there thanks to their amazing hospitality.
