B&B HOTEL Brive-la-Gaillarde — Hotel in Brive-la-Gaillarde

This motel hotel is excellent. I really like B&B anyway but this one is outstanding. Rooms are totally fine, clean simple, all ameneties (though no tea making facility), good bedding, and maximum fresh air window. Very nice breakfast well worth getting, including hot food (scrambled eggs and bacon) and everything else. Very friendly and pleasant morning staff. Easy automated paperless check in. Oustide area. Microwave and drinks and soup machine. Very good restaurant.bar/cocktails place next door. This is a lot more than just a stopover...

Only a couple of minutes off the A20, this has the air of having taken a bit more wear than many B&B Hotels, but was still clean, very comfortable, and just what was needed for an overnight stop en route. Online check-in worked flawlessly, enabling immediate access when wanted. Breakfast was excellent: all good quality and fresh, getting us on the road promptly the next morning. The only interaction needed was to give our room number before breakfast. The B&B experience continues...

The hotel was on site with the Depot restaurant. We did eat there but would have preferred more choice but getting around as a pedestrian to restaurants further afield didn't appeal to us. The car park was as always nice and secure and it was close to the autoroute for our onward journey. Had a comfortable night and a good breakfast.
