This B&B was a most excellent stop for us during our month in The South of France. It rests in a very quiet spot in the sweet little village of st Andre near Soredad. The village is in walking distance. It is quite charming in a non-touristy way, yet it offers two excellent restaurants allowing you relaxing nights near home without the stress of parking. Meanwhile, we were able to take easy day trips to Colliieure and Port Vendres which are quite close by. This Olivette is a way to avoid the masses of travelers that overpopulated the coastal cities in peak seasons. We also went to the Dali museum in Spain as well as to the coastal towns of Cadaques and lovely Girona in a one day trip. It was always a dreamy place to return to in the evening. Each room is spacious and modern offering excellent bathroom and showers in each room, high quality. Better yet, the air conditioning is self controlled and offers truly wonderful relief from the heat. The rooms are in a separate building and each one has a patio. But over the sliding glass doors to the patio is a thick automatic shade that keeps out the heat of the sun or light as you wish. Beyond that, Samuel and his lovely, gracious family will be sure you are comfortable. He offers excellent travel suggestions during breakfast each morning. He is a bit shy with English, but he knows enough to make any traveler feel quite comfortable even if you don't speak French. Beyond all this, the price for the rooms is quite modest and fair, The front automatic gate also offers extremely secure as well as convenient parking. So, for a relaxed charming modern comfortable place to stay near the coast by the Spanish border, we think this is a wonderful deal-- both a way to save money and a way to escape the hordes of tourists that crowd the...

Je suis allé deux fois en couple dans cette chambre d'hôte, en juillet 2019 et cette année en juillet 2022 pour 9 et 14 jours, respectivement. Les chambres sont relativement grandes, comfortables, très propres, avec douches et un lit de qualité, table, chaises, jolie décoration particulière à chaque chambre (et une petite téévision). Les chambres sont équipées d'air conditionné. L'hôtesse Madame MOLI est charmante, conseille bien pour les plages, les visites, prépare de très bons petits-déjeuners avec d'excellentes confitures maison (assez originales), des viennoiseries, des pains excellents du boulanger du village. ||Le site est très calme, puisque la maison est en retrait d'une rue déjà très calme en elle-même, sur le bord du village, non loin du centre. Le jardin est grand et joli. Chaque chambre possède un petit espace extérieur individuel avec un parasol, une table et des chaises, où l'on peut prendre ses repas. Notre hôtesse met aussi à la disposition de ses invités, un réfrigérateur (un niveau réservé par chambre), des couverts et ustensiles de cuisine, donc on peut cuisiner simplement le midi et le soir, pas d'obligation d'laler systématiquement au restaurant ! Des espaces sont réservés pour garer sa voiture. Nous avons passé deux excellents séjours là-bas et y retournerons...
