LA CASA DINA — Hotel in Céret

We went to the restaurant attached to the hotel. The room is pretty basic but was cool on a hot day. It is not front line in Banyuls sur mer but can be seen from the front. We decided on the menu du jour at €19 for two courses, no choice. The starter was a lovely refreshing salad of courgettes (pickled I think) with red berry coulis and feta. I found this place by chance arriving about an hour before sunset by bike. In fact, I did not realised I had cross the border into France! I was quiet lucky finding these very comfy and affordable rooms. The food was superb and the the lady chef and girl waitress were incredibly hospitable. Especially the girl with the black hair.
