Chambres d'hôtes La Bellours Cahors — Hotel in Cahors

4 of us stayed here for 2 nights in September.

The guest house is modern, bright, tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean.

There is a private secure car park behind electronic gates, at the rear.

The centre of the town is just a short walk away with numerous restaurants and cafés.

Gregory is a friendly, welcoming host who tries extremely hard to accommodate the needs of his guests. For example, he helped us with a video call. Also, he is flexible on schedule for early departures.

The breakfast was excellent, featuring local produce and homemade jams, pastries, meats etc.

There is an elevator for luggage and air conditioning throughout. We were able to use the refrigerator for wine and enjoyed drinks on the terrace, before going out for dinner.

The private garden is tranquil and we enjoyed the swimming pool, which has secure fencing and numerous sun loungers for guests to relax.

The spa (literally next door) is run by Greg's wife and offers treatments at an additional cost.

The compact bedroom was well thought out. The bed was comfortable and the bedding is of good quality. A full length mirror would have been useful.

The toilets are cleverly supplied with recycled water. We had a fully enclosed shower, which is excellent and plenty of hot water.

Exceptional ! Beautifully renovated old building. Lovely comfortable room and great ensuite. Breakfast was a mixture of organic and homemade - excellent. Gregory our host could not have been more helpful. We shall definitely stay here again, it's just one of the loveliest places we have stayed. We had a fabulous stay. The hotel is a family run business with Gregory as the person running the hotel along with his beautiful wife.
