As others have said…. don’t be put off by the fact that this Hotel is near to the Leclerc supermarket. There are absolutely no negatives and the benefits are: plenty of parking and the convenience of everything you need, next-door. We were greeted on arrival by a delightful young couple and their two little Toy Yorkshire Terriers. All were charming and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The Rooms are good and clean. We were surprised to find that all hotels in Redon were only 2 star but I guess that’s because they don’t have small fridges and coffee making facilities in the room, which would have been nice but, we managed without. ||The self-service buffet breakfast was good and plentiful. ||There are a number of good restaurants close by – particularly L’Ecluse (Italian) which was so good, we went twice..!||The town is also close by, as is the river. The couple who run the hotel speak perfect English and, do contact them direct. No need to go thru a third party booking company as they both speak good English and were quick to respond to my email...

Parking is no problem and there is no noise infiltration from outside thanks to the excellent soundproofing. ||||This is a really nice hotel which despite it's setting offers great value for money, excellent proximity to the Nantes to Brest Canal (ideal for cyclists) as well as the town centre which is only a ten minute walk. As for Leclerc, it is quite useful to have a supermarket nearby to restock if you are travelling, refuel if you are driving and a small...
