Camping Les Bruyères — Hotel in Charolles

Liked: Naomi was super helpful, and even though she would disagree her English was brilliant.

I upgraded to a pod as I was tired and wet after cycling all day, and didn't fancy my tent again. The pod was cozy, well appointed, and a real treat.

The facilities were clean and everything worked well. In short I had a very nice stay and wound definitely...

Accueil impoli. Nous avions laissé notre camping-car à l’exterieur du camping et nous sommes rentrés à pieds pour voir l’envIronnement. La personne à l’acceuil nous a demandé sur un ton froid et impoli , je cite «  vous cherchez QUOI », un bonjour accompagné d’un «  en quoi puis-je vous aider » aurait été plus commercial.

Devant notre surprise d'être reçus de la sorte, elle nous a dit , je cite : « ici c'est un camping privé et les campeurs ne veulent pas être dérangés». Nous ne l’avons donc pas dérangée ( surtout elle je pense) et nous sommes partis, refroidis par cette ambiance que nous ne souhaitions pas poursuivre.

Par hasard ,nous sommes allés ensuite au camping de CHARIEU que je recommande pour son accueil et son environnement, ce n’est peut être pas un camping PRIVÉ mais l’acceuîl est mille fois plus agréable.

J’espère que la personne dont nous parlons sera se reconnaître et adoptera à l avenir un ton plus doux pour recevoir...

Very nice camping with a beautiful view over the lake and the castle. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The camping has lots of trees, so there is enough shade.
