This hotel is beautiful, clean, roomy and AC works very well. Our rooms were 501 and 502, for the 3 of us, looking out to the street below. The photos are from room 502. Everything was the same except the shower in 501. The shower in 502 is not as big as 501 (square vs rectangle), but worked well. Plenty of lights in the main part of the room and by the beds. Night stands are a bit low, though. They could be raised up to be better accessed while in bed. There is a Nespresso coffee maker and tea kettle in room, as well as dishes, glasses, mugs and silverware. There is a towel rack to dry dishes, a sink, a microwave, a small fridge with a freezer and counterspace in the kitchen area. The bedding was nice. Pillows and mattress were nice, too. Slept very well. Housekeeping service is available daily, which is a rare offering post-pandemic. The breakfast served every morning was basically the same, but it was a better selection than what I had thought it would be and very delicious, especially the yogurt. Very attentive staff kept everything refilled/replaced and in working order, particularly the woman working on Monday-Thursday. We interacted with her the most. A selection of juices, eggs, sausage, cheeses, veggies, selection of bread, pain au chocolates, croissants, escargo au raisins (I think its called and was really good), cereals, selection of yogurts, many teas, jams, butter, honey, Nutella (tastes better here, less sweet), madelines (regular and gluten-free), a brownie or little chocolate cake of some kind, doughnuts, pre-made pancakes, pre-made crepes, pre-made waffles, plain whole almonds, congee on a couple days, and water cooler and a machine that had 24hr coffee and hot chocolate. Our favorites were cappuccinos and hot chocolate 😊 The staff, from check in to housekeeping to breakfast were wonderful. Kind, friendly and so helpful when we needed any help with directions, finding a lost insurance card and general pleasantries as we came and went. Short walk to grocery stores, boulangeries and restaurants. The nearest bus stop is about a 2 minute walk and about a 10- 15 minute walk to the RER, both we used daily into Paris and was easy. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again on our next Paris vacation :) (edited to add a few details and fix...
Read moreNice hotel just had a lot of issues that ruined the experience.||When arriving staff was lovely, the interior in the hotel was nice and overall looks like it was on the website. However, upon inspection is where some of the other issues arise.||The first issue was that the party that I was with was three persons and so they gave us the reduced mobility suite when that is not what we payed for online (Agoda). We were assigned an accessible suite which had no proper slope in the shower area. As a result, water from the shower flooded the entire bathroom, reaching the toilet, sink, and entrance. The floor remained dangerously slippery despite extra towels provided by reception. This was not a minor inconvenience but a serious safety hazard that made the bathroom essentially unusable.||There were visible stains on some of the pillows when we arrived. This raised immediate concerns about hygiene, especially coming from a supposedly 4-star hotel. We were left feeling uneasy and disappointed before even settling in.||Lastly, another persistent issue was the issue of mosquitoes. When we initially entered the room there were a lot of mosquitoes even though the window was not open, first we didn’t think much of it, but then in the night they continued to buzz in our ears so we spent around an hour trying to kill these insects. This went on for the rest of our trip and reduce the enjoyment of our trip as on the last day we woke up with bites on our arms.||These conditions were far below the standard promised and expected, and they completely overshadowed our trip. We left feeling uncomfortable, let down, and frankly, misled by the hotel’s rating and description. We tried contacting the team reception team about these issues once we left however we have been greeted with no reply back. However, I have read some of the reviews and someone that was in the same suite as us faced the...
