Camping Ushuaïa Villages Les Fougères — Hotel in La Rochelle

Well we stay out of the saison ...The place is just okay . The First look is a old camping with " news" mobile home . This place is not so well maintenance . Is maybe good if you are old, don't care or / and don't know better. But for us was not to good.|The mobile home is very , very small , and the cheap bed is just okay and forget about the bed protection not clean at all. Thank'x and as GOOD we take our own "bed stuf" pillow and meatless protection too. Because what we find was just dirty as a bad motel .You may try to |Sleeping in a 3 x 2 m room (smaller as a jail room) lol ....With the street access directly to the land Close by and behind a street going to a trash land, recycling lot ...|Lot of car drive whit Trailer pass by whit the noises.|Our frig make a noise 24/7 as someone snoring in the room, I ask the managent but nothing was fix ? The tree was fresh cut , but all branch are still there waiting for ???Thee land is not clean at all trash bags and garden trash are still on the floor everywhere.|If you need go to google you need to forget about the free wifi in " each " mobille home . Nothing is passing except close to the reception ...|The Positive point is : |friendly management .|gas BBQ / plancha .|Nice outside patio & table.| Free parking in front your "home"|and TV with mini satellite . |The location :|Little fare of the Maine street 1 mile from beach . No action there |Well was just okay but was "cheap" I will not come back there . I love better to paid little more and get better service and location. This is the first review I have left, yet I feel I need to as the way we were treated at this campsite was appalling We were made to feel extremely unwelcome and made to feel as though we were a hindrance to the owners. Even though it was just myself and my husband checking in, we were spoken to and treated in such an appalling way, I have never experienced anything like it in the past. We were warned about bad behaviour and the noise levels etc. all with a very sarcastic smirk on the lady's face. We were watched during the evening by the owner who circled the campsite on a bike with a torch, and at one point he stood and stared at us from the toilet block when we had a friend around after office hours. Extremely intimidating. I can understand why they require visitor's to report to reception, however the way in which he dealt with the situation was extremely rude. I will never stay at this campsite again. Wash facilities are great, but that in no way makes up for the attitude...

Booked on the fly 24hrs before arrival, as we were chasing the sun during a month long trip to France. Stayed for 2 nights. Friendly multi lingual staff providing easy check in.||Accommodation is pleasant enough for a couple of nights. We were two adults and booked a four adult cabin (only accommodation available at time of booking) and it was tight for us both. Rooms are small, beds are small and the toilet cubicle is the smallest we have ever been in (very tight). Anything more than two nights and I think cabin fever would have set in, even though we were out and about all day.||Saying all that, we did enjoy our stay here, the kitchenette was more than adequate as was the cooking utensils provided.
