Le Tethys — Restaurant in La Rochelle

Exceptional restaurant, with fantastic food, service and atmosphere. It was the best place we have been to in France and really was the highlight of our holiday. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly and the food was excellent. There was a waitress wearing green trousers and had brown hair on the evening 5th September. She was the best waitress we have ever seen. She was so hard working, efficient, friendly, organised, we were amazed. She could run the whole place! What a great local establishment. Not a great view of the beach but the atmosphere is very nice. The pizza is wonderful, the salads are very fresh and the other dining options don't disappoint. Try and get there fairly early so you don't miss the fresh seafood options. The service is super friendly and they walk you through their menu if prompted. Great wine and beer selection. Every time on the Île de Ré I will visit!...

I was passing by with friends, the restaurant was hosting a wedding but the cool pizza chef still welcomed us to order. Everyone was very nice and polite with us, they prepared 6 pizzas by mistake when we actually ordered 5 so the owner offered us the 6th for free. They even helped us charge our phones inside.
