Fantastic campsite. We found this place at the end of our 2 week tour - stayed 2 nights but would have stayed longer if we could. Extremely helpful staff. Located right on a nice swimming beach - supermarket and good restaurant (Sablè) at the entrance. Our campervan pitch was nice & private. The electric hook-up connector was a household type rather than the more common 16A blue plug, but the supermarket had the adapters available so was no issue. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - will certainly return for a longer stay next year :-)

We stayed in a cabin for two nights. Very clean and comfortable. Only downside is the cabins are all very close to each other including windows looking in to neighbouring cabins. Could just do with a little more space. Lots of work going on the site installing new cabins and looks like a pool is being built. Nice on site cafe and a short walk to beach, cafe, shop.

Love this campsite. So close to the beach. On-site bike, paddleboard and kayak hire make a difference. Reasonable prices too. Loved the Airstream café. Nice and quiet, but that could be because the schools have just gone back! There are a couple of nice-looking restaurants next door which the campsite residents are flocking to. Must try them out.

We stayed in a two bedroom cabane as a family of four, with two teenagers, for four nights. We would definitely recommend this place for the generally relaxing vibe, lovely pool area with plentiful sun loungers, nearby beach, restaurant and bicycle hire next to the site. They do their best with the poor quality sandy soil and still manage to have many plants and flowers blooming across the site. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but most of the time you don't really need to ask for anything. ||We only gave four stars out of five because of a few minor niggles. The air-con in the cabane is only in the main lounge/kitchen area, as a result the bedrooms can feel very warm. The adjacent beach is not that attractive, there are nicer beaches within 1 mile of the complex. The pool area could be spruced up a bit, and the site can feel a bit claustrophobic with the cabanes quite close together. From our decking we could see people in the adjacent cabane using the toilet, and the window is only semi-frosted, you see more than you would like to see. I suspect this is the case with many other cabanes. I would emphasise that these were only minor niggles for us, we really enjoyed our time here.||The wider Quiberon peninsula is very attractive. We cycled around it one day, using hired bicycles from next door to Sauvage, it is a very attractive area. The east side of the peninsula is sheltered and quite developed, tastefully so, the west side of the peninsula bears the brunt of the Atlantic weather and is more stark and bare. The town of Quiberon is very attractive, a popular spot for ferries to and from the nearby islands. Sauvage is located at the edge of Quiberon town, around 3km from the...

we booked on this site for 3 nights on the internet it looked the part, checking in was ok a pitch was given to us with hedges either side and a water tap on the pitch .The electric was the old two pin type and the box was hanging off the post with a milk crate giving protection from the elements. On inspecton the toilet block was dated smelled and provided no soap.or paper towels to wash your hands, the elsan was in the same building as the toilet and was dirty do not know when it was last cleaned.in the three days we stayed I did not see one member of staff cleaning the toilet blocks at all.But the plus side the water in the showers was hot and a good supply, Wi-Fi on the site was good [to be paid for] location of the beach great but the on site bar and restaurant was packed and we found a better one 2 mins away. The site would have been great but for the sake of keeping up to it in the cleaning department we will...
