Didn't have the best time. We arrived late (around 8pm) because we drove past it and went to the other camping de l'Il nearby (obviously our fault), but I think it meant we got the evening staff who definitely weren't as familiar with the place or the concept of customer service in general. We booked to stay in the treehouse log cabin for 1 night on our way through, it was very small but would have been doable. But the bathroom slider door fell off when I went to use it, and knocked the fire alarm off the ceiling and hit my boyfriend on the head. I went to report it straight away (as they take a €250 deposit and my passport, so didn't want any issues) and the guy wedged it in so there was a 10cm gap to get in and out and said it's fine. We argued and demonstrated that it would fall again when you tried to walk past, which it then did, so he removed the door from the cabin and then said it's fine to use. With no door on the bathroom in a very very tiny place. Might be okay for some couples, but not us. So we said not good enough. He then went away to speak to a manager, came back and said we could have a €10 discount. Definitely not worth it. We said no again and packed up ready to leave, and he then said they could move us to a mobile home for no extra charger. So about an hour later we had somewhere useable to sleep. It wasn't the cleanest with plenty of spiders and the smell of weed, and the shower only had cold water. But it was at least useable. Wasn't a fan of the fact they took €250 and my passport either, and that it's €50 charge of you haven't cleaned it properly either. But the next morning the lady on reception was nicer and apologised for the door hitting my boyfriend and I got my passport and money back fine. Probably don't stay in any of their cabins unless you have to. Camping looked fine though and the shared camping...

Camping De L'Ill in Mulhouse is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a spacious and well-equipped camping experience. Friendly staff helping you out finding your way on the campsite. The large, open layout of the campsite offers plenty of room, and the numerous shaded spots provide a perfect retreat on sunny days. What’s more, it’s conveniently accessible for travelers arriving by train, which was a huge plus for us.

Most comfortable is that you can choose your own spot on the campsite, allowing you to find the perfect place to settle in. The multiple sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, ensuring comfort throughout your stay. The campsite is fully equipped with everything you might need: there’s a swimming pool to cool off in, a small shop for essentials, and a canteen where you can cook simple meals and relax.

We also enjoyed the convenience of a food truck that arrived every evening, offering a delicious meal without the hassle of cooking. Another major advantage is the proximity to Mulhouse’s city center, which is within walking distance. The city itself is charming and well worth spending a few days exploring. Overall, Camping De L'Ill provided a fantastic experience, blending the tranquility of camping with the convenience of nearby urban amenities. Highly...

This site has been under new management for nearly 12 months. The new owners are refurbishing the site and making it better. The staff are superb, they could not be better, they really want to help you and solve any problems you have. The site is wooded, it’s a haven for local wildlife and adjacent to a river with much natural wildlife. You leave the campsite, turn left and walk over a footbridge. Turn left and there is a long footpath which is easy to walk by the river. Turn right and you follow the footpath for 20 mins into the town centre. Walk straight ahead you go through a small park and sports complex and come to a tram stop which takes you into town and other local areas. Remember to frank your ticket in the machine on the tram. |There are 2 wash facilities on site, the one nearest reception is dated but clean with plenty of hot water. The second is very new but was closed during our visit. There is free wi fi with excellent fast speeds. |The pitches are rich with vegetation and well kept. You can buy bread and milk on site. The site is peaceful safe and secure. They have security on duty at night. |I recommend this site. Do not be put off by...

We stayed one night in a small wooden hut for two, for 42,00€, with a small table and shared bathrooms. We arrived around 21h30 and at the reception the guys were quite friendly and okay with us. The morning after we met an Italian guy who works there (Pietro) and who is really cool, it was nice to meet him! When we arrived at the hut we noticed it was not so clean, the bed wasn't made and there were single-use sheets for pillows and mattress (looked a bit like a hospital). Fortunately there were two blankets we could use to cover them, but it was not that much comfortable. You are supposed to clean your hut where you are leaving and when you arrive you have to make a 250,00€ deposit that they give you back once you leave (didn't know that when I booked). About the shared bathrooms: guys, I am sorry, but they are old, rusty and not well cleaned, I would not shower there.

Very nice camping with all you need for a smooth stay in the area. The staff is super kind and accommodated all our requests with smile. Congratulations! The town is closeby, either by bike, tram or just walking along the riverside. Kids loved the pool in the warm days. If anything, sometimes the igienic facilities were not so clean, with water pipes leaking water, and hot water coming and going. But reasonable in such a busy time as August.
