Europe Hôtel — Hotel in Nevers

I stay in budget hotels every year en route to and from Menorca. This is the most disappointing place I have ever stayed. The room was tiny. I was on my own and found the room very small, when it has three people in it I dread to think what it must be like. On the positive side the bed was very comfortable, the shower lovely and warm and the welcome biscuits and toiletries very much appreciated. The colour of the decor - bright purple and yellow was a bit nauseating but the real problem was the noise. I had travelled all day and was exhausted so I ate a quick pizza at a local pizzeria (the only local choice apart from Chinese or McDonalds) and went to bed early. There was some noise of people coming and going which sounded as though it was in the room but I put this down to the early hour and, as I was so exhausted, it didn't really bother me. At around 2 am though a group of people came in talking loudly and I could hear every word. They appeared to be directly above me because there was the sound of furniture being scraped along the floor and people walking around. It was absolutely deafening. After around half an hour I gave up, had a shower, left the hotel and drove to Calais overnight. I had paid for breakfast but didn't hang around to try it. Very, very...

Dit hotel ligt tussen gemiddeld en heel goed in, voor een nachtje slapen als je op doorreis bent. Ik heb 2 keer gebruik gemaakt van het hotel tijdens mijn reis van Spanje naar Nederland. De ligging is goed, niet te ver van de snelweg en in de directe omgeving heb je een benzinepomp (24 uur beschikbaar met creditcard) waar je nog tegen een goede prijs je auto kan voltanken. Daar naast is er een grote supermarkt, voor als je nog het één en ander nodig hebt. In de omgeving zijn er een paar restaurants waar je een eenvoudige maaltijd kan gebruiken. Maar je kan natuurlijk ook de stad inrijden voor meer keuze. Het hotel heeft niet al te ruime, eenvoudige, maar schone kamers. Over de Badkamer valt er niks op aan te merken en badlinnen is verder ook correct. Het ontbijt is goed en wordt aangevuld. Het hotel heeft verder een eigen, met video bewaakte parking. Het was mij in beide keren niet gelukt om de wifi aan de praat te krijgen. Personeel is vriendelijk, spreekt engels en zeer behulpzaam. Ik beveel het hotel aan voor...

Je fréquente pas mal d'hôtel "pour une nuit" Dans ce même ordre de prix la douche et les WC sont généralement communs ... Là, même si elle est "petite" elle est dans la chambre Les parties communes sont entretenues avec les mêmes produits que les hôpitaux (odeur). Par contre dans la chambre, les draps, serviettes sentent très bon la soupline. Le chauffage vous attend à 19° Mon arrivée tardive (23h30) a été optimisée aimablement par téléphone. Petit déjeuner standard, à partir de 7h (annoncé avant la réservation). Très bonne (courte) nuit dans cet hôtel. Parking non fermé, mais privé, au fond d'une impasse, et surveillé.

Bon ... Pour le prix, franchement rien à redire. Mais le seul truc discutable c'est la douche en angle avec un rideau très amoureux ....
