It's a small Hotel with clean, warm rooms run by an old couple. Everything is available around the hotel, like there is a supermarket at doorstep ( was a bit expensive but you can get everything u need), a lot of eating options ( KFC and Mc'D around 100 m away, other small places to get a Crêpe or arabic food, lot of small grocery shops and a small market in the middle of the road till afternoon, there r even multiple laundry places around the corner, one is just a doorstep away in case u need it, metro is also just 50-100 m away). I would give this Hotel 5 stars for location. We booked a room for 3 people for 4 days. You get Breakfast in the morning, it's not too fancy but it's more than enough ( simple french breakfast with bread, croissant and coffee/Tea with milk). We asked for a water heating kettle to keep in our room and got it in a minute with many Tea packs and sugar. The Owner is real sweet and speaks English. We got fresh bed sheets and towels everyday of course. The Beds are comfortable, not too soft or hard. If you're looking for a five star hotel experience then you shouldn't book it but if clean rooms, washroom and cozy and comfortable place to stay is your requirement for the trip then go for it. And it's not even expensive given the location in Paris. Obviously it's not located in the centre of the City, but Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and La Louvre can be reached with metro in 15-20 minutes with 1.90€ (This ticket is valid for an hour in case you...

There was a tv and a shower. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but there were people everywhere so it was fine. The owners may not speak English as per other commenters. I don't know. As I speak French, it was fine. They were nice. You could probably manage with an easy translation app. It isn't like you are going to discuss much with them anyway so don't let that keep you away. The staircase is definitely unique and challenging so if you have mobility issues, you will need to reconsider. They do help with your luggage though. I will stay here again if I return. Basic French breakfast is provided and it's fine, but we took advantage of the pastry places since we don't get to France much. Restaurants and grocery stores in very close proximity. The bed was a little hard so if you need a plush bed, maybe...
