🇫🇷 Paris Hotel Recommendation: Where to Stay in Paris? Besides the Eiffel Tower, you must experience Paris's nightlife at least once! A hotspot for the young crowd! 🌟 Kube Hotel Paris A unique themed hotel hidden down a small alley, all rooms feature Nordic style. Simple, elegant, and perfect for couples or friends. The rooms are adorned with large mirrors, ice block-patterned walls, and each room has a different portrait as the bed's backdrop, all in a white color scheme. 🌟 You can arrange for breakfast to be served directly in your room by notifying the front desk. ❤️ The hotel has an ice cave bar, ICE KUBE, located on the second floor of the lobby. Make sure to reserve your spot with the front desk in advance! Upon entering the ice cave bar, staff will provide you with羽绒服 (down jackets), as the temperature inside is -18°C. Experience a slice of Nordic life. Inside, there's a mini ice bar where you can order drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. 🌟 Up to 27 people can enter at once. The service at the hotel is excellent; from the outside, it may seem unassuming, but inside, you'll find many interesting decorations. During the day, you can enjoy breakfast in the outdoor lounge area, perfect for photos. This hotel has its own unique style. Hotel Address: KUBE HOTEL PARIS (4-star) 1-5 PASSAGE RUELLE 75018 Just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, and you'll see the hotel sign after turning onto the main street. Highly recommend experiencing the ice cave bar for a night if you're visiting Paris. Enjoy Paris's nightlife without even leaving the hotel! #ParisHotels #ParisTravel #ParisNightlife @Marchefiel Hotel Group @CaptainShu @LifeCaptain

This “hotel” has a serious pest control issue — ants and other unidentified insects crawled out from under furniture every time I moved something (e.g., the nightstand). When I contacted management with photos and concerns, they offered nothing but excuses. The dining tables were not cleaned properly, still marked with water stains and grime every morning I went down for breakfast. The food was consistently cold, with very limited variety. The location is also unsettling — tucked in a shady cul-de-sac, often with people loitering nearby. Despite this, the main gate was left wide open at all hours, even late at night, which made the place feel unsafe. I had a clear view of it from my room and not once saw it closed. Staff were untrained, rude, and unprofessional, and unfortunately, I believe this reflects poorly on the entire Machefort Group of hotels and their properties. I did my research (unfortunately after my stay) and their reviews are consistently bad. This is not a four-star hotel — it barely qualifies as one star, yet charges premium prices. How are they allowed to say they are a four star hotel? It is a step up from a hostel. Do not stay here If you’ve already booked here, document everything — take photos and videos — and do not hesitate to ask for your money back. This place needs serious accountability and improvement. Or perhaps they need to demolish it all together. . One staff member initially suggested I find another hotel, which was unhelpful, though I was later upgraded to a better room after some persistence. I booked well in advance, so these problems were disappointing. The hotel has potential, but major improvements are needed before it can truly meet four-star expectations. It is actually 15 to 20 minutes walk from Gare du Nord not five minutes as they state on their website. And those 15-20 minutes is an obstacle course of shady characters to avoid.

I will write my review in English in order to reach as many people as possible. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel and I do really want no one to experience the same as me.

I chose this hotel since it was the nearest available one to a professional event I had 2nd and 3rd December 2021. I was in Paris on business and proximity, convenience, confort and quietness were especially important for me.

The hotel is, apparently, a 4 star hotel and the average rate per night was 200€ (without breakfast). This was paid by my company but I indicate all these data to reflect the type of expectation I had for my stay.

First night was ok; in the morning I decided to have breakfast (15€ extra, since it was not included, despite the 200€ per night) and I wish I hadn’t. The variety was quite scarce, so I decided to order an omelette… it took, literally, 30 minutes to be ready (also, to be taken into consideration that the staff barely spoke English, so the communication was really difficult). Result: I was late at work. No more breakfast during my stay.

But this was just an “appetizer”. What is absolutely unreasonable was what happened during second night. The hotel organized a party in the bar/ground floor, which made my room look like a real disco, despite the fact I was obviously not part of the party. It was completely impossible to sleep. Impossible. The music was so loud that it was like you were in the middle of the party. I called reception (from my mobile phone, the phone of the room was not working) complaining about that, and the only answer I received was: “yes, I am very sorry, but this is a private party and the only option is to wait until it finishes, something that will happen at 2 am”. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. It’s first time in my life that the hotel organizes a party that boicots the rest of the guests. Intentionally. This is not a guest disturbing another guest, no, this is the hotel disturbing all the guests. Guests that have paid a huge amount of money to have a place to rest. The day after I had to wake up at 6.30 am and I was not able to sleep until 2 am… so I was literally destroyed. I tried to submit an oficial complaint the day after. Not possible. No explanation. No nothing. Just… “I’m sorry, it’s the way it is”. So I just want to make everyone aware that you should keep far away of this hotel. This is not a hotel, it’s a disco where you will not be able to rest.

Again. Worst experience in my life in a...

Despite the nice decoration and a lot of potential of this Hotel to spend a lovely time in there, our stay there was completely ruined and we hated every minute spent in there. Extreeme incompetence ofthe reception leads to missinformation, multiple problems, lack of organisation, mess and very long wait on the arrival. The receptionist are either incapable to provide a minimim of correct service orjust try to get rid of the client as soon as possible. Also new receptionis left alone and not able to do anything. The hotel organises private parties, making the only restaurant , bar and ICE BAR completely unavailable for hotel guests. Offcourse we are not informed of this fact in advance, so on arrival we discover that none f the facilities are available for us and we can just stay in our room !!! SO BE PREPARED THAT YOU WILL ARRIVE THERE AND NOT BE ABLE TO GO NOR TO RESTAURANT NOR ICE BAR. which makes the visit in this place POINTLESS, unless you go there to sleep before the business meeting the next day, which i dont think most people do there. WE ASKED FOR A RESERVATION ON THE PHONE BEFORE ARRIVAL, THE RECEPTIONIST SAID IT WAS UNNECESSARY TO DO AND DID NOT TAKE IT. THEN ON ARRIVAL THE BAR WAS NOT ACCESSIBLE AS RENTED FOR SOME PRIVATE PARTY. So there is no way to know if you will get this bad surprise on arrival even if you ask. And the creme dela creme is the extreemely rude and incompetent hotel manager, with total lack of will to find solutions to problems,to make his guests happy and with complete lack of professionalisme. Its a man with a huge ego treating the guests in a cold patronising way, refusing to take any responsability for the extreemely bad Customer service in his hotel. I dont even know what this man is doing in this position, he treats guests like a necessary evil to make money. From the first moment of arrival we experienced only problems,we came there for a birthday celebration, were refused access to hotel facilities, litterally pushed out of the ICE BAR, refused the reservation in the ice bar by incompetent receptionist plus we were treated in a rude way by the manager. I wish we never booked, I strongly advise you not to book this hotel or if you book it, be prepared for multiple problems. We could not even apreciate or enjoy the insolite original place as we were in constant stress and nerves. Lovely place + extreemely bad Customer service =...
