Brit Hotel Essentiel Pontivy - Robic — Hotel in Pontivy

We really enjoyed staying in the Hotel Robic during our motorcycle tour of France as we had two excellent nights here, all thanks to the very friendly (& helpful) staff.|The hotel itself looks charming and was easily found within Pontivy. With parking to the rear and a simple, friendly and efficient check in (despite my poor attempt at speaking French), the hotel has all we could need. |Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with en-suite and a TV (not that we used it). We had a very quiet and peaceful nights sleep and woke to lovely views of the canal. Breakfast was good with breads, pastries, cheeses, fruit and cereal. |There are many other facilities within the hotel such as a bar and (I believe) conference type facilities… all very well maintained and managed. |The local town was larger than expected and very nice to walk around in the sunshine. I stayed 1 night in the hotel Robic, in a single-bed room and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The room was small but very nice and with everything you need, when you stay 1 night. I like the decoration and nice aroma due to an aromatic candle. I especially appreciated the receptionist who, on account of my check-in after 22h, was so kind and sent me the instructions about how to get to my room translated into my language (slovak) as she wasnt sure whether I speak any French or English. Booked to stay here for an overnight stop.||We had a very warm greeting on arrival. The receptionist was very helpful, and on learning we were hoping for an evening meal, quickly popped next door to the neighbouring restaurant to arrange a table for us. The meal there was wonderful.||Our room was clean ,well appointed and comfortable.||Breakfast was lovely. Super fresh with plenty of choice including some locally produced yoghurts.
