The saving grace of our 1 week holiday was that it was so close to the beach and most days were spent there. Whilst our 'luxury high end mobile home' was new, it was very cramped. Sadly, the owners of the site did not speak English very well and did not make us feel very welcome. The y were more concerned about rules than service and this really upset us, particularly as the inventory list was wrong, which took 3 days to sort out! Our children did enjoy the fact there were swings and table tennis on site and the laundry facilities were clean and acceptable. Whilst this site is quiet and well known (so we found out) for those who are keen boules players, it was somewhat restricting when it came to coming and going on the site as the main pathways were occupied...
Read moreThis camp site is the very best one we have stayed on in France. It is beautifully kept in all areas from the flowers, trees and shrubs to the immaculate shower and toilet block. The owners and family who run the site are very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this camp site to both couples and families who like a quieter site. It is in an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. ||Petanque is played each afternoon on site for those who wish to play. Read moreShocking place. No booking received and no English spoken. €31 for the non electric pitch was frankly a rip off, the one up the road was advertising at €20. Hot water was virtually non existent so shaving wasn’t comfortable at all. |Then for half the night a grip of youths were allowed to run amok, running behind vans and tents and shouting. Nothing was done by the owners until about 2am when it quietened. |Grounds staff were fantastic and the setting is lovely. Such a shame that the owners / reception aren’t as good.
