Despite a slightly uninviting facade and an underwhelming street side menu, this restaurant is an unexpected treat. If you want to experience genuine French cuisine, executed very, very well, this is the place to choose. I'm not sure that they are really bothered about attracting English visitors here, my very poor French language skills were stretched to the limit, maybe they just wanted to encourage me. Fantastic restaurant! The welcome is wonderful. Great local beers on tap and a good wine list. A small menu, but everything is perfect and fresh. My husband adored the grilled octopus appetizer. We both loved our fresh fish main courses, with exquisite accompanying sides. D’extérieur le restaurant amuse avec sa pancarte “au big blue” Petite terrasse sympathique A l’intérieur on rentre d’abord dans la partie bar, un peu sombre Puis juste après la partie restaurant: lumineuse, bien décorée. Les tables sont assez espacées pour ne pas entendre les discussions des voisins. La carte est courte: 3 entrées - 2 plats - 3 desserts + les suggestions du jour Personnellement cela m’inspire toujours plus confiance qu’une carte trop longue. J’ai pris le merlu en croûte de parmesan et le Paris Brest revisité. Le poison était très bien préparé, les légumes aussi Le dessert était à tomber (les 3 de la carte me faisait envie!)
