The campsite and staff were incredible. We had gotten a 6 person mobile home for myself and my friends. Because we're all 17-18 year old boys they were reluctant at first, but my dad vouched for us and we got in. Despite being the cheapest option the mobile home had plenty of great facilities for the lot of us, like a gas cooker, kettle and pans, BBQ grill, shower, toilet and beds. Two of the guys had to share a double bed in one room but they didn't seem to mind. The drying rack was also broken when we got there, but it didn't inconvenience us in the slightest. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and knew great English. Special shout out to the bald bloke who did a great job at making us feel included with the activities the nights we got down there, as well as the English lady who joked that the 5 of us looked like the main cast of Stranger Things (sorry we weren't able to get that photograph). Shop prices were nice and cheap as well. The pool is also a very good pool for a smaller campsite such as this one. If I had one point of criticism the food in the cafe isn't all that, but there are plenty of food venues around St Malo to eat at instead. The location is also very good. Being a 40 minute bus drive away from St Malo port town, the campsite was in it's own secluded location around the chateau of the same name. The campsite is a 20 minute walk away from Le Madeleine supermarket as well as some other shops and venues, not to forget the aquarium. Overall, Domaine de la Ville Huchet is a small but great venue for some glamping. It was great for me and my friends and I am sure that families and friend groups would all have a great time here.

We did go just before the season started but apart from some feral children running round screaming past midnight on one of the weekends the site was quiet and fairly empty. It's beautifully laid out, offering a range of accommodation and pitches in the grounds of a small chateau. Pitches are roomy and if you pay for electric hookup all your electricity is then free for the duration. However, if you want more than 30 mins WiFi per day you need to pay for that. We opted for the week at €18 and then switched users as required. There is an on-site shop, bar and indoor pool (out of season) plus an outdoor pool and Creperie in season. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, speaking varying degrees of English. They are very forgiving of bad French to. We chose this site, 20 minutes from the St Malo ferry, as well were camping and wanted to get set up and the car emptied so we could go exploring faster. This worked especially well on the last day as the ferry leaves about 10am. It would therefore make a great place to spend a last night or 2. In the immediate area are some woods. There are supermarkets in the nearby town and beautiful walks a few minutes drive away

The reception staff was very polite, we allocated a location for our tent but upon viewing of the location is was very unsuitable to be able to put our tent due to it being very uneven. We drove round looking at others locations on the camping park then went to ask if the location was available, but not. We was then given another choice which we choose but still very uneven. The locations with electricity points are only suitable for camping cars and caravans who require electricity. There was other locations which was available which may have been flat ? but we had required for electricity. The location of the campsite is very good as it is only a 15 minute drive to the port of St Malo, it is also close to various large supermarkets. The campsite was Very clean at all times, the swimming pool was very clean and attended by a life guard. The toilets had toilet paper provided. The campsite is noisy due to the location near busy roads but if you are in a caravan or a camping car then you will not hear it . Ice pack renewal is available for €0.50 per pack.

Spent 11 nights in a caravan on a premium pitch.

Sanitaire Prive: Shower, wash basin, toilet, kitchen sink and fridge. Really excellent, clean, modern and in separate, lockable areas. Needed standard French plug for electricity to the caravan (luckily had an adapter - could get one from the nearby Decathlon though I think). Service and Facilities: Reception, bar/snack and shop. All really good with excellent service. With the bar/snack you can eat in or take away (pizza, beer, cocktails - that sort of thing). Also onsite Creperie Restaurant - didn't try that, but looked good also. Pools (inside and outside) were superb, clean and supervised by a staff member. Outdoor pool with water slides were great for the kids and adults! Indoor pool with a lazy river and protection from the elements was a great alternative. Location: Two large hypermarkets within two minutes drive. Centre of Saint-Malo was another 5 minutes away. Use the Paul Feval Park & Ride (euro 3.30) for a 5 minute ride to the Intra Muros. Loads of spaces in the P&R - don't pay until you return. Large aquarium is two minutes away - about a half day visit. Mont St Michel is about 50 minutes away - really busy, but well worth a visit (euro 21.00) to park.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would...
