Camping maeva Escapades Colomba — Hotel in Sartène

The camping is nice, the location is good, the personnel is very welcoming and nice as well.

However, the bungalow is not that comfortable. It is important to take note of its comfort before jumping on its booking... The rooms are extremely small, the shower 🚿 less than 1 m². Fortunately, there's an AC. Otherwise, it would have been a living oven!

Wasps are at their home! They enter the bungalow very easily from the aerations above the windows. Ask the reception to vaporize a repulsive product to prevent this. Same for ants 🐜, these are at their home too! Plenty of them are in the bungalow. We neutralized 5 cockroaches 🪳, just in case you hate these lovely insects...

Upon arrival, cleanliness was wishy-washy! Now electricity: we faced a lot of electricity cuts, every 15 min at rush hours, which was tiring, especially when you launch a washing machine that stops when electricity cuts! Two of our machines did not go to the end, wasting 2 non refundable washes. Of note, washing machines are 5 min walking from the bungalow, unless yours is or will be located near it.

There was no view from our bungalow, but this is not the case from other ones.

The first night, we slept without bed sheets as they forgot to install it. Same for the pillows, they forgot to install 2 of them.

Bij aankomst wilde ik inchecken en aangezien mijn Frans niet zo geweldig is, ging ik al snel over op de wereldtaal Engels. De receptioniste die mij hielp, kon geen woord Engels (en de jongere dame die naast haar zat, hield bemoeide zich er vooral niet mee, dus ik vermoedde dat zij het ook niet kon).

Ze ging rustig in het Frans verder, ondanks dat ik zei dat ik haar niet verstond. Ze zei dat ik een moment moest wachten en ging gasten die na mij binnenkwamen, maar wel Frans spraken helpen.

Ondertussen stond ik daar maar. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik een a4’tje onder mijn neus gedrukt met wat standaard dingen over de camping, maar de mensen die naast mij werden ingecheckt, kregen een uitgebreid verhaal.

Als je in de toerisme werkt, zeker bij de receptie, dan is het mijns inziens noodzakelijk dat je verstaanbaar kunt maken?! Maar zelfs de echte basis, zoals het bijboeken van het bedlinnen, werd niet verstaan. Echt absurd!

Er is een app waarin de openingstijden, schema animatie en dergelijke in staan, maar ook deze is grotendeels in het Frans.

Het zwembad oogt op de foto’s van de website ruim, maar is het in werkelijkheid niet. Er zijn volgens mij 100 units op de camping, waar minimaal 4 personen in kunnen, maar er staan maar max. 25 ligbedden.

We hebben niet in het restaurant gegeten, maar wat we er voorbij zagen komen, zag dat er goed uit.

De caravan was ruim, schoon en de keuken erg compleet. Een wasje draaien, is mijns inziens flink aan de prijs €6,-.

In de buurt zijn er prachtige stranden en ook het plaatsje Sartene is een bezoekje waard.

Het is vast een fijne camping als je de taal spreekt, maar wij voelden ons hier allesbehalve welkom. We hebben zijn al flink de wereld over geweest, maar nog nooit hebben we er zo’n naar gevoel aan overgehouden dan...

A FUIR, publicité mensongère, camping plus loin que prévu à pied de la plage. Catastrophes en arrivant le ménage n'avait pas été fait et après discussion avec la réception le mobil-home n'avait pas été ouvert depuis 10jours. Nous pensons que c'était plutôt quelques mois, vu les nids d'araignées à chaque angles des pièces. Literie déplorable avec tâches sur les draps, lit où l'on sent les ressorts. Agression verbale à la réception car on a dit que c'était inadmissible que personne n'ai fait un tour du logement pour s'assurer de l'état du logement. A la réception des clés personne n'a prévenu que les draps étaient non fourni, résultat 30€ supplémentaires. On nous a trouvé un logement de remplacement mais étant très déçu de notre arrivée on avait déjà un goût amer du début des vacances. La piscine est également très glissante, nous avons à plusieurs reprises failli tomber. La direction nous a offert une bouteille de vin en dédommagement, merci mais on les a vu et ils n'ont même pas pris la peine de venir nous voir pour s'excuser. Après une première nuit dans des chambres très étriqué où on pouvait à peine passer autour du lit et où on a très mal dormi vu la mauvaise qualité des lits. On se demande sincèrement comment ils ont fait pour avoir 4etoiles. On a donc décidé de partir, heureusement on nous a remboursé les 30€ des draps mais c'est tout. On s'est retrouvé en urgence à chercher un autre logement. Frais qu'on avait pas prévu. Quand on demande à Maëva un remboursement, on nous informe que vu qu'un logement de remplacement avait été proposé on n'aurait pas le droit à un remboursement. Comme nous sommes restés qu'une nuit, 415€ on trouve ça très excessifs. On part 2fois par an avec la plateforme Maëva. Pour sûr vous ne nous...
