The castle is a pure gem, really well situated in a quiet park. We have chosen a room in the main building for two nights, without AC and accessible by stairs only, which was not a problem for us. Our room 212 was with a nice view facing the park, really large, with a beautiful wooden floor, the bathroom was clean and also perfect. The bed was large and comfortable with a good mattress. You can have a walk in the castle to visit the grand salon which is just amazing and a relaxing walk in the huge park. The price was quite attractive including buffet breakfast for 107€ per night. Just a suggestion to the owners regarding the breakfast: why not working with local providers, producers and bakery? I will be ready to pay more for a breakfast without frozen croissants and industrial pieces of cheese. You are in a such beautiful region with tasty foods, so it's a pity for not using them. You could propose bibeleskaes yogurts instead of regular ones, local sausages instead of industrial hams, local apple juices instead of tasteless and over sweet juices or homemade kougelhopf. Despite this, we have had a nice stay and I recommend this hotel to anyone interested in a...

Location is quiet and 15 min to centre by taxi. These are about €25/30 one way but parking in the centre is not so good so we used taxis for convenience. ||These Chateau is nice and in a park so lovely walks if you want. The Chateau had no lunch and dinner facilities when we went , but breakfast is very good. If you want to eat there are restaurants in the area in easy walking distance. ||If you have problems climbing stairs then make sure you book ground floor room if you can as stairs are steep and in a circle so tight. The rooms are spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed. The toilet flush can be problematic as expected in a building this age but the shower has good water pressure so very refreshing after a hard days exploring. ||Then there is the Staff !!! I have travelled extensively around the world and I have to say the staff are the most helpful courteous team that I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. The reception staff need an extra shout out as they go above and beyond the call of duty. ||All in all I would recommend a stay at the Chateau and Strasbourg is a great place to visit....

Amazing hotel. This Chateau is in a great location away from busy cities and in a park with many open acres nearby for walking. The rooms were nice, although our room was in a side building not the main Chateau. There are some nice historic rooms in the main Chateau with a piano in the lounge. There is a restaurant and bar adjacent with a volleyball sand court, where families go to lounge, have snacks/ice cream and drink. There is free parking for guests at the hotel and if you have a car and plan to spend time in Strasbourg, it is best to drive a mile and park at the tram (city train) pickup. You can leave your car there all day and the total price to park and bring your family/friends on the train is only around four Euro's for your whole car of people. This will save you money and time versus finding and paying for expensive parking in the city. There are some good restaurants nearby in the area of Robertsau. We ate at Au Coq Blanc which was very delicious. Overall, you cannot go wrong staying here as it is a great atmosphere...

Picturesque area, that you can't get enough of it! A hotel that it's root's goes back to 1700 makes you adore the unique areas either walling, bicycling or just sitting and just look. All buildings are well preserved and rooms are quite spacious with all amenities. Breakfast area is large and breakfast is rich with numerous choices to make, depending on your needs. Staff is warm welcoming guests and can assist with dinner options and Strasbourg visits. A unique place that someone must do the favour to stay at!

An excellent relaxing stay of 2 night. For me the location and the friendly staff made me to give it a 4 star review, although the hotel and the it's building could use some renovation. An extra + for me personally was the open un-staffed bar based on trust. (I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere but for us it worked) - When you plan a visit to Stassbourg, you can drive 4 KM to the nearest public parking lot and your ticket will give you access from there to the public transportation all day.

A very nice hotel in Strasbourg. Very friendly staff. They offer a good breakfast and they even have a few car chargers. A flat fee of 20 euros and charging all the way to full regardless how long it takes. My 100D got a 16kw per hour charge speed. Very nice😃 My wife loved the sauna. It was clean and stylish. A very good offer is: parking at the P&R and traveling downtown with the tram for only 4,20 euros. This is up and down for 1 to 7 individuals. From 04:30 to 02:00. Amazing😃😍👍🏻.
