First the positive: lovley location, overlooking the old town and the sea until the islands. In 5 minutes walk in the middle of town with lots of restaurants and shops. Lovely terrasse with large pool. Owners friendly||Rooms and establishments old fashioned, public rooms full of dust. Breakfast is "breadfast"-only bread and heavely used jams, sometimes fruits-not anything else, had to look basically every morning for milk as owners usually just came down around 9 am... Rooms was in 5 days of stay, not cleaned 3 x||At pool side their is an artist corner, so constantly people walking over your feet when laying at pool, lots of people coming for swims, which are not guests at hotel. There is a public kitchen with fridge to store your own food and drinks, nice idea-however the one fridge was stinking so extreme, that we couldnt use it, the other fridge which then was proposed, well-----mushrooms growing inside, do I need to say more ? ||All in all- a lovely location, but in need of renovation, good cleaning and more...
Read moreMy wife and I spent 5 wonderful nights at the Castel Pierre Lisse this past July.||This B&B is located above the old city of Hyeres in a stunning french southern villa with one of the best view in town. There is nothing like having breakfast on the terrasse with a 180 degree view of the city, with the presqu'ile de Giens and the coast in the background.||Our room, on the top floor was spacious, well kept and had probably the best looking bathroom in the house. The house has this artsy feel, decorated with paintings and art pieces from local artists. The patio with a large pool is a great area to relax and cool down before walking down to the old part of town for dinner. ||Pierre and Nicolas were wonderful hosts and made us feel like we were part of their circle of friends.||We highly recommend Castel Pierre Lisse if you are spending some time in Hyeres and would like to experience a beautiful and friendly B&B.||We will go...
Read moreMy friend ans I stayed at Castel Pierre Lisse for one night and our stay was absolutely fantastic. We didn’t even want to leave the place or go down to the beach. The pool area was great, it had sun through the whole day, it was quiet and peaceful and we were the only one’s at the pool for two days. The interior and decorations at Castel Pierre Lisse was super nice and unique and all in all we hade a great experience here. The staff was also adorable and as they didn’t speak much english, it was a great opportunity to practice french! The only ”surprise” we had was the Aigue Marine room, that had no separate bathroom, so the shower was in the middle of the room. If you are travelling as a couple I suppose that’s ok, but as we were travelling just with my friend, it felt a little weird. The toilet was luckily separate. The old town and restaurants were easily accessable. I will definitely come here again if I ever go...
