Like offering to change your room when finding out about your sprained ankle. Like giving you tips about the surroundings and the local wines (Casa mARTa's selection was really good). Like finding you new books to read (thanks again). Oh - or like actually taking the challenge to BAKE gluten free bread and cake for you (that's a first!).
Breakfast is ample with coffee, juice, bread, homemade jams and eggs. Dinner is lovely whether served on the terrace or at the "host's table" (make sure you're hungry). Terrific views of the mountains across the Rhone from the terrace, the perfect place to relax.

It suited our travel plans to stay in area. ||||From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Fabrice and Paul with a glass of chilled rose wine until the time we left after two nights it was delightful. ||||Our room was large and well appointed with a good private bathroom and terrace with stunning views over the valley. The inclusive breakfasts were simple but all with home produce. We were in even offered bacon and eggs which we declined as were too full from the two dinners we had there. A very warm welcome and drinks by the fire, with an amazing cheese board soon had us feeling relaxed. ||The host is incredibly thoughtful and went out of his way to look after us.||The house is an interesting example of 60's architecture with a Moroccan flavour. | It is tastefully decorated and feels like a boutique hotel! ||We ate there one night and it was great.
