New Gudauri Rooms — Hotel in Mtskheta-Mtianeti

We booked to stay in this hotel making sure to pay at the property. Two weeks prior to our arrival the money was pulled out, we assumed it is just a hold and we will actually pay at the property which was not the case at all. We reached Gudauri on a snowy day to arrive to an empty hotel with only one woman cleaning around and the reception was closed. We waited for some guy to come give us the keys yet we discovered that all the restaurants in the hotel and around are closed, literally nothing to do yet they did not inform us prior to our arrival but were very efficient in pulling the money. PS: the reason why everything is closed it that the ski season hasn’t started yet, but the team should have notified us prior to our arrival at least. Anyway we left the place due to the unpleasant and impossibility to survive on a snowy weekend with no one around or place to eat and until now we are not able to get our money back!!! Poor room, refrigerator didn't work, heating didn't heat enough, tarrebal and dirty bedding, dishes, everything so dirty including walls !!!! In the shower you need to close water after 1-2 minutes cuz water fills ALL around, the black sofa in a picture - covered dirty cheap foam, in the "kitchen" only 1 socket - if u want to use microwave - pull out kettle. Bad service include- in receptions a guy burping in front of you!!you have a problem? - go to another building, want to check out? Not here - go to building 4. (they also can't solve any problem, just leave there a keys). Leaky old towels - seems like some one just trow them away!! They even not the same colors/quality/firm!!! And the "slippers" - same story. Nauseatingly. Terrible apartment (apartment?! Really? Room with some kind of kitchen and toilet...) Worst place I'm been in. ...

😊: What a great experience! We had an amazing ski week and everything was as convenient as can be! The apartment was perfect, loved the view, had everything we needed to make some of our meals in the apartment. Variety of restaurants right outside our door step. 2 spa's (did both). Lana the hostess was super helpful with arranging transfers for us and answering all our questions.
