Lali was one of the best experiences we've had during our trip to Georgia. It’s a cozy and warm space with Georgian music on, a fireplace heating the room and Georgian elements and garmets which make the place feel really authentic. Food is delicious and Lali is charming and kind. She treated us so well at lunch that we went back for dinner. It felt like a family member welcoming hosts rather than just another restaurant. We ate pork and potatoes (okjapuri), khachapuri and eggplant with walnuts. The wine is homemade, beautiful and light. We also tried the local chacha and brandy, very tasty. Lali also teaches how to make Khachapuri. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to join the class/activity but we certainly will next time. Thank you Lali!
Second trip to Lali's. It was Febrary and Signagi wasn’t crowded at all. The restaurant looked closed but she opened it and cooked for us anyway although there were no other clients. She prepared a delicious kachapuri, kinhali, a salad with homemade cabbage and a soup. Everything was fresh and some of the best food we've had in Georgia overall. If you go to Signagi, do not miss a trip to Lali, it's hospitality...
Read moreI stayed here 2 night in april. When i arrive the owner told me that they have another room in different place with mountain view. I decide for this option but nobody advice me that there wasn't any heater. Unlucky cause of the weather (it rains for 2 days continiously) so the room was frozen and wet. The building "mountain view" is far from the guesthouse so i cannot comunicate with the owner and cannot ask some blanket more. Even the glass of windows was a bit broken but was too late to change room. The day after the rain was so strong that i cannot go out from my room but the owner (or maybe the waitress) come 4 times at my room and force me to pay so i have to go out to the bank and change money eventhough i guarantee that i will pay the day after before check out. No way to manage customer. If they care of customer as they care of money could be very...
Read moreThe family is extremely friendly, hospitable and accommodating! We felt very welcome and cared for.||||Upon arrival it turned out that Lali had gone on holiday and that our booking had not conveyed to the caretaker - her son David - for that time. Yet, David directly tried his best to accomodate us and gave us a room on the first floor. Throughout the stay, David and his family made us feel very welcome and were wonderful hosts.||||The room itself is of average quality, with a hole in the ceiling and some smells from the bathroom, although a big upside is the air conditioning. Amenities such as clean towels, toilet paper and a hair dryer had been provided. It has a small private bathroom, with hot water and good water pressure. The bed unfortunately was rather bad quality, so not advised for those...
