Lemon Hostel — Hotel in Tbilisi

NEVER EVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOSTEL!

The host is drunk and aggressive at nights. We were supposed to stay there for 4 nights. The first night was okay, but during the second night we heard glass breaking, the host shouting over a woman, forcing his dog onto her and beating her. Then he started banging on the doors of all those who were staying there (including us) and demandingg them to leave at three in the MORNING. Little kids, grown ups - all thrown out in the middle of the night to nowhere!!! When we demanded our money back (we paid in advance), he started shouting and cursing. So WE CALLED THE POLICE and got our money back. The police should've issued a warrant against him hosting internationals under those conditions, but his aunt Isolda started talking to the policemen in Georgian and they came to some understanding, I suppose. (Or maybe she offered them money, who knows.)

The hosts are either fraudulent people who prank their guests to get money OR inadequate people who SHOULD BE IN JAIL OR BETTER YET A MENTAL HOSPITAL.

The host seemed a bit inadequate at first, too, but I associated it with autism. But now I fully realize HE IS MENTAL!!!!

I m surprised to see bad comments about the owner. He might have been going through some rough time. I visited tbilisi back in september 2015. and stayed there for few days. Did not have any single issue. I booked for a shared dormitory room but I was given a private room instead. super clean spacious shower n toilette outside my room . Speedy wifi and helpful owner and also a nice lady helper. There was a fig tree right outside my room towards the main road. And the lady did my laundry for free. I met the owner's cute little dog too. The place gave me really homey feeling actually and really quiet. It was a bit hard to find at first but 2 very helpful local students I asked at the metro station brought me there. The place has a garden planted with some beautiful flowers n trees. It also has a kitchen with a fridge where you can store your foods. I actually had a great time cooking :) Just so happened no one else stayed there during my stay. Host is drunk ALL the time, he will also be drunk when he "welcomes" you, it gets way worse at night, he is aggressive and kicked in our door when we tried to hide from him(see pics, or just go upstairs and look for yourself, other doors are even more damaged) kicking out people in the middle of the night for no reason, domestic violence against his aunt||He only has good ratings on booking.com because he tells everyone how sick he is and good ratings are the only joy in his life so people feel sorry for him, if you are lucky he will probably be a nice host but it's like a game of Russian Roulette with him, depending on how drunk he is. ||Avoid this place at all cost especially if you are female, he tried to force himself into the room with my girlfriend while trying to push me out of the room...||If you need more stories about sexual harassment and kicking out people in the middle of the night about this guy check out this hostel on google...
