We trusted the reviews and really hope it was just a coincidence, but we were unlucky.
Food We ordered a pizza with prosciutto but received one with ham. If the owner is Italian, it’s very strange because a real Italian would rather shoot himself than call regular ham prosciutto. When we asked the waiter why there was ham, we were rudely told that it was prosciutto! Photo attached. The lasagna was average, and the pizza dough was so-so (definitely not like in Italy).
SERVICE The waiter was rude, and so was the manager. When we asked if they had real prosciutto, she sharply replied, "You ordered prosciutto, here’s your prosciutto." We asked very politely. We really didn't like that while we were eating, they started pulling out huge bags of trash from the kitchen right in front of us, one of which tore open right next to us. Not the most pleasant sight, especially when you're eating.
Overall, I’ll give this place another chance next time. For now, it's a 2/5...
I hope the Italian owner visits his homeland, sharpens his skills in Italian cuisine, and comes back to share his experience with the local chefs. And also replaces...
Read moreThis place was recommended by a friend to have great pizzas. I don't understand why.
The dough was very oily, definitely not pizza dough. More like Imeruli khatchapuri (a typical georgian dish). And the cheese was 1:1 khatchapuri cheese. It was baked very evenly and bland, a pizza should have brown-black, crusty bubbles and crisp taste.
Just putting pepperoni (which is Salami here) on a khatchapuri doesn't make it a pepperoni pizza. It just makes it a very disgusting khatchapuri.
Also the place was crammed and dirty. We were sitting on the outside terrace, and and an open flight of stairs (just bottom planks, the vertical gaps were left open) led to an upstairs terrace. Our table was under this staircase. Whenever people walked on the staircase, the dirt from their shoes fell onto our plates.
The owner\cook\chef was also unfriendly and rude.
I cannot understand why people like this place, I will never...
Read moreWe stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and ordered ravioli with bolognese sauce, pizza with artichokes, and a burrata salad. The pizza and salad portions were generous and quite tasty. However, the service from the moment we entered was really disappointing. The waitress was quite rude and unprofessional. When we ordered the artichoke pizza, we kindly requested no ham, and while they left out the ham, the pizza came without any artichokes either. When we asked about it, the waitress claimed they don’t add artichokes, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. She didn’t bother to inform us that they were out of artichokes, which was frustrating. As for the ravioli with bolognese, it wasn’t good either. Overall, while the food portions were nice, their service needs serious...
