Hotel "Glück Auf" — Hotel in Bad Grund

We were not aware of this restaurant on previous visits to Bad Grund, and discovered it on a walk, and liked the look of the menu that was outside.||||We decided to visit as some of our group fancied burgers which had been on the menu board. The restaurant was empty but as there were 8 of us, the staff quickly moved some tables together for us. We were disappointed to find that the menu was not the same one that we had seen on the board outside.||||However we decided to stay and although the service was very slow, and to be honest the very young staff members seemed a little intimidated by us, the food was very nice and quite reasonably priced.||||It was later intimated to us that had we arrived in our bike gear that we would have been turned away. Wo soll ich nur anfangen. Eine reine Zumutung. Die Rezeption zeigte mir schon eine unangenehme Abnutzung. Die Apartments waren dann nicht anders. Hotel noch als Restaurant geklariert, obwohl das schon lange nicht mehr betrieben wurde. Alles muffig, kaputt und abgenutzt. Es gibt alt mit Charme, aber hier einfach nur abgewohnt. Tote Pflanzen, mit Klebeband reparierte Türen, nicht funktionierende Lichter und in den Küchenschubladen mit Besteck waren noch genug Reste von den vorherigen Gästen. Transparenz der anfallenden Kosten, Fehlanzeige. Kosten stiegen pro Person und Frühstück auf einmal extra. Nach Bekanntgabe verfrühter Abreise wurde ganz schnell nach Zahlung der Rechnung aufgefordert. Sehr unfreundliche Gastgeber, bis auf die Angestellten.
