Hotel Mietz — Hotel in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

I LOVE this hotel. I've been coming here for a month each year for the past 3 years, and I will come back again next year, for sure. The location of this hotel is fabulous, two short streets from the center of town, so you're near everything!!...the shops, and wonderful restaurants, the beautiful Ahr River, the many bike and walking paths, and the train which takes you up and down the valley and over to Bonn and Koblenz.

The hotel is quiet, clean, serves a delicious and substantial breakfast and the price is competitive, or even lower, than the other hotels in their category. It's a two star hotel, but I'd match it with any 3-star hotel anywhere!

The Hotel Mietz is run by two owners, who between them speak French, Dutch, French, and English, in addition to German. One of the owners is always on call and often sitting in the hotel's beautiful garden (where I'm writing this review!) The goal of the owners is to make all their visitors feel welcome,and comfortable, and they succeed spectacularly! It's for that reason that so many guests come back year after year...me being...

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr zentralen Lage in Bad Neuenahr. Das Zentrum am alten Markt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.||Wir sind persönlich und sehr freundlich im Hotel empfangen worden. Eine klassischen Rezeptionsschalter gibt es nicht, aber ein "Büro". Das Hotel wurde uns vorgestellt. Es gibt einen kleinen, gemütlichen Frühstücksraum und einen sehr schönen Innenhof und ein Wintergarten. ||Schräg gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite hat das Hotel einige kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten.||Das Doppelzimmer war von absolut ausreichender Größe. Die Ausstattung war mit Schrank, Safe, Tisch, Stühle, TV, Telefon standardmäßig komplett. Alles war in einem Gutem Zustand. Das Bad war groß, gepflegt, recht modern und sauber.||WLAN ist kostenfrei vorhanden jedoch etwas kompliziert.||Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert. Es gab drei Sorten Brot und Brötchen, allerdings nur helle. Es fehlten mir da ein kleine Körnerbrötchenauswahl. Bei Wurst, Käse, Aufstriche war die Auswahl in Ordnung.
