I stayed at this hotel between August 5th and 6th, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. This place does not deserve a four-star rating at all. The sink in the bathroom was dirty when we arrived. The staff were rude and behaved in a discriminatory and disrespectful manner. One of the female employees acted with arrogance and a complete lack of professionalism. We had booked two rooms for our family. At check-in, the receptionist apologized for not having both rooms on the same floor. The hotel’s system only allows access to the floor your room is on. My mother wanted to visit my room on a different floor and asked the staff for help. Although my mother speaks English, the employee chose to ignore her and let her struggle for 20 minutes without offering any assistance. When I approached the staff member myself, I realized that she could have easily opened the elevator or accompanied my mother to my room. Instead, she spoke to me with arrogance, disrespect, and clear rudeness. This situation forced me to speak to the hotel manager, who only offered to cancel the next night free of charge. I canceled the following night and will never return to this hotel. I strongly advise others not to book here – there are many other hotels in Düsseldorf that treat foreigners and tourists with kindness and respect. On top of all that, a bottle of water from the hotel costs four times the price at a supermarket. Parking is also very expensive – €25 regardless of how many...
Read morePerfect Location, But Unacceptable Cleanliness Issues||||The hotel’s location is perfect, and the room itself was spacious, which initially seemed promising. However, our experience quickly turned unpleasant.||||When we were ready to go to bed around 11 PM, we discovered blood stains on the bedding—a clear sign it hadn’t been cleaned. Shockingly, there was no housekeeping staff available at that hour to change the bed.||||The receptionist on duty was friendly and tried to help by offering another room, but it was on a higher floor. Since one of us is claustrophobic and unable to use the elevator, a lower-level room was a non-negotiable request. To make matters worse, the receptionist wasn’t certain if the alternative room had three beds, and as he was working alone, he couldn’t leave the front desk to confirm.||||Ultimately, the only solution offered was extra towels to cover the dirty bed. While it was a kind gesture under the circumstances, sleeping on towels over a stained bed is far from what I expect after paying for a comfortable and clean stay.||||The following morning, housekeeping cleaned the room and offered an apology, but no other form of compensation was provided. While the location and room size were excellent, this experience left a sour taste and overshadowed what was supposed to be a...
Read moreFantastic Stay at NH Düsseldorf Nord – Special Thanks to Leo at the Bar!
I recently stayed at the NH Hotel Düsseldorf Nord and had a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and conveniently located with easy access to public transportation. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional.
However, what really made my stay memorable was the bar – and more specifically, the amazing bartender, Leo. From the moment I walked in, Leo made me feel welcome with his warm, open-hearted manner and genuine hospitality. He has a natural talent for connecting with people and creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
Leo’s cocktails are truly outstanding – each one crafted with care, creativity, and a real passion for mixology. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic drink or something a bit more adventurous, Leo delivers every time with a smile. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and it elevates the entire experience at the hotel bar.
If you're staying at the NH Düsseldorf Nord, make sure to stop by the bar and say hi to Leo – it’s...
